I will say, Mozilla giving up on something doesn't mean it's bad. Mozilla makes lots of bad decisions too (as well as amazing decisions). But I agree don't bet the company on Servo, I'm just curious what Vivaldi engineers think of the browser engine situation. Google basically makes all the engineering decisions for Blink, which is not great

what do you think of Servo? I think Chromium/Blink is still solid and good but I wonder if Servo could be the engine to overtake them one day. Maybe that's where Vivaldi's resources would be better spent?

I wish yous would contribute to Chromium/Blink more because they really could use help when it comes to just engineering wisdom and experience. Way too much of the engineering/technical side is left to Google employees and a lot of that is because no one else is stepping up to really contribute. Google has an imperfect engineering culture, it's not good for Chromium and the open web

I never heard of her until someone posted it last month in a discord I'm in. Personally I think it's creepy to see her first videos compared to now, the style and mannerisms and even her voice is turning into you 😭 No one has ever mentioned this to you until now?????

I don't want to post screenshots from the discord but basically this is how she was when she first started, and fast forward to today, to borrow phrase "her transformation into Lety is nearly complete" 😭 😭 here's her first vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=198D2jsNWic

yo Lety, I'm not trying to instigate drama but I've seen a couple of people say LaurieWired basically copied you as a person lmao. Thoughts? If you don't want to comment on it publicly I'll keep it private of course https://www.youtube.com/@lauriewired/videos
