Good to have things clarified.
@nprofile…axmk had to spend a lot of energies in battling conflicting interests which led having to stronger rules to avoid those issues in the future
Once the legal consultations are over and the matters are settled, #Collabora's developers will be able to reapply for full membership
#TDF has developers that constantly improve #LibreOffice and will employ more guaranteeing a bright future for LibreOffice and the community

@nprofile…f83y It is indeed and internal issue that could have been fixed years ago. It has been dragged to this point and someone decided to create a lot of unnecessary drama instead of focusing his time in actually fixing these issues.
This post simplifies a lot the complexity of the matter but provides an explanation to the necessary rules that could have been a minor temporary inconvenience for some:

@nprofile…dvns Conosco diversi avvocati che si cimentano in progetti simili e sono anche bravi per cui non dovresti incontrare particolari problemi :-)
Personalmente gestisco, tra altre cose, istanze Matrix e Mastodon e non sono poi così complicate.

So it seems like we'll have a #Schrems III next year which, if things stay as they are, will invalidate the obviously inadequate adequacy agreement that could/should have been called #PrivacyShield II (or Safe Harbor III) as it's essentially a copy paste of the previous one(s).
Apart from supporting @nprofile…gv3z with my membership happy to offer a beer to Max when he'll come back to #Luxembourg for what should be a quite "easy" hearing :-)

@npub19st…u9g9 Nice article and interesting to read about Alma Linux's PoV and choices but... why lowercase 'b'? :-)
