This is exactly what I'm experiencing.
However, this article is disingenuous, it is not that "AI systems" are doing "exactly what they are told to do".
I reality, they hallucinate, can't actually understand user intent and often fail to say "I don't understand" or "I can't do that"
Instead AI's confirm an operation that has actually failed.
These things are anything but intelligent.

I like the tiling manager
Agree that multiple monitor work spaces needs some getting used to or customization. And that's what I like, being able to customize easily with help from Gemini.
Pipewire makes my podcast setup possible with Rodecaster, and I built my own playlist system.
Also love how there seems to be an open source tool or application for everything o used to have on windows.
I hope never to go back.

I think we have a tremendous opportunity here.
If all the apps that us the index will report to us the organizations and companies that are publishing TTS podcasts, we can just block all of them. Market all our apps as TTS Free
No AI Slop
Provide a way for your users to report slop they find.
This is not a problem that needs a technical fix it's a marketing opportunity.

There is only one solution and that is the ultimate goal: Government issued DigitalID.

Nor does anyone else.
We have a total number of donors over time, which exceeds the unique audience AI is calculating. They come and go.
It is a fallacy to calculate total audience size on a monthly basis, or perhaps even any time period.
Moreover, in the V4V arena, we ONLY care about 1 statistic: can we pay the mortgage this month.
Because V4V is time, talent and treasure, we also do not have the expense of producers we would have to pay.

Your comment is uninformed and simplistic.
Why do people think that "celebrities" have it easy monetarily or don't know what "normal" life is like?
We pioneered this entire concept only to see it struggle through changes in legislation, providers, tenological deprivation and jihadi-like "sovereignists" who chased away many normies by constantly harping on kyc, keysend and self hosting.

Audience Capture is real.
Another reason I prefer V4V over subscriptions.
People send us value when they feel it is of value to them. Typically they don't when they disagree with us.
What they send when they feel they've received value far outstrips a $5/month subscription.
People rage quit our show all the time, but there's no subscription to cancel, and if and when they come back they typically start contributing again.
