GM
A PR got merged today that has been 100% done with local AI (qwen-3.8-flash-next) and nobody complained or even noticed that it was not frontier.
It's a big and active open source project.
I'm pretty impressed by my local setup now.

I created a skill for that agent to get food data from the Internet. Now I can send an image of the food, barcode or only text him to get a new food entry.
My kcal usage from the day I get from my home assistant instance
It also got its own Frontend website I can visit to see my stats

My system for the local model is a Strix Halo (Framework Desktop) with 128gb vram.
This new Qwen model does not needed to be fully loaded onto VRAM. It can outsource it's ngram embeddings onto normal RAM. But you still need like 90gb of VRAM to run it with good context length I think.

I use T3 Code (with mobile app). I use codex, Claude and my local models with OpenCode via T3 Code. Connected to my private gitea and GitHub.
For my local models I use qwen-3.8-flash-next via Ollama routed through my LiteLLM Proxy (for statistics and key management).
I got a spare MacBook that runs t3code server and I connect to it via NetBird/Tailscale :)
Works beautiful!

More coming soon :)

Willkommen in Deutschland Bürokratie 2026.

2 Monts ago I had a power outage. It corrupted my lightning node.
Yesterday I finally managed to sweep - what I thought lost sats - to my on-chain address.
Feels like a big relief.
They were locked on a "sweep wallet". I had to claim them with the chantools cli.
I tried it like multiple days across those 2 months without luck. But yesterday was the day it worked. Feels so damn good!

Had a power outage tonight. Nothing wild. But I desperately tried to fix all my mini PCs and servers because my local DNS was going crazy. After fixing that I still struggled with some machines. Turns out (managed) switches can hang as well. Restarting it after 2 more hours of debugging finally fixed all my issues. Hope there was no data loss but looks good on first view.
It's always DNS (and switches)
