If you used Bitcoin Knots to generate the block template I would join. I don't want to spam the blockchain with transactions containing arbitrary monkeys jpegs.

The Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo, one of the largest in the EU, has bought 11 BTC. It is the first Italian bank to directly invest in Bitcoin.
The news was initially leaked and then confirmed by the CEO.

If only a minority of the miners follow the old chain, the risk of 51% attack becomes real moreover the hashing power could move from one to another, destabilizing the block time in a very relevant way. I think that this has in fact happened to the Bitcoin forks that lost the majority of the market value.

2024-10-22 17:26:06 GMT

- reply

If the miners follow the higher-value chain you wouldn't be able to transact on the original Bitcoin as no blocks will be produced for some time.

Talking about the CC, what hardware wallet of another vendor can be used to check the deterministic signature for the transactions?
About Trezor I found this: https://forum.trezor.io/t/deterministic-signature-issues/18976
I don't trust Ledger.
Jade and Bitbox have their own anti-klepto and are not using RFC 6979.
You often say that generic computers should not be trusted.
So what else can be done for a single-sig?

If you use cashu and don't run your own mint, then you are using someone else's LN node. However, the owner of the node does not know how much you are storing in his mint, nor can rug pull you individually (provided that you are not the only user of his mint).

It would be useful to have on WoS an option to pay an onchain amount with low priority. If this flag is enabled the wallet should batch multiple transactions from different users over a time window and then send this batched transaction with the low priority fee. This could be useful to DCA over LN inside WoS and periodically send a big UTXO to cold storage.
