Really random but I've been learning a little bit of Hebrew and it's a beautiful language. They have a transcendent-oriented fractal and meaningful structure all the way down to the letters themselves.
Wisdom embedded in the language itself. Nice!
Must hard to violently change the meaning of words when the very arrangment of letters by itself has meaning and each letter has a story behind it, like calling water H2O instead of water. Just beautiful

The Japanese sign papers with elaborate personal seals. On Nostr instead of having an account you have a digital sealing stamp that can’t be forged and you use it to sign arbitrary data and publish it in a decentralized network, the stamp is defined by a secret that you need to safekeep since it now represents your identity. Most obvious use case is you sign short text messages, voilà you have a decentralized twitter

In the meanwhile I’m trying to build a generic and fair way to boost notes, where reposters can automatically earn sats by reposting a boosted note.
Should be transparent and also easy to simply hide all promoted content, but incentives might line up so that everyone benefits and earns some sats, maybe this could even dip into relay operator monetization.
I actually don’t care if someone else implements this first, good luck to us!

I think eventually we will need a way to attest a note was issued by a human, maybe a captcha-like sub protocol where trusted humanity attestation providers can publish a note that says “ I attest that PubKey-A has just passed a captcha” with a reference to what note this was done for.

I just watched Mario’s Twitter spaces on the french riots, where he hosted people from both sides and it might sound weird but my takeaway is it’s scary how correct the majority of vocal bitcoin maxis are about western civilization. Just wow, I we are at an inflection point.

If there's ever a way to *somehow* remote signing from a PWA, that's how the nostr ecosystem could bloom even on iOS.
Imagine an open source "appstore" on top of nostr, with comments and ratings/zaps for each pwa. I think it has potential, I'm more in line with @npub1sg6…f63m than @npub180c…h6w6 on that.

I actually believe in move fast and break things. But that needs to happen *on top of* a solid conservative foundation.
We need many options on top of a substrate. On a tangent note, it reminds of a quote from John Adams
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
Freedom + morality created prosperity for a long time. After the collapse of universal ethics and morals, cryptography and sound protocols will do the same for money, communication and freedom itself IMO

I literally saw cars flying off of buildings and a whole drugstore/supermarket collapsing in ruins after being burned down.

By being an open platform. Stable order can *only* come from chaos. It's how humans evolved from soup, why central banking is evil, why true decentralization is necessary, why good companies always pop up in a free market.
We might choose many different and creative client-side or self hosted filtering algorithms and the best *for you* is bound to exist, you just have to find it.

I think there will eventually be a way that advertizers will be able to promote their content and pay users through relays for their likes. The users choose to join the promotion-enabled relays out of self interest and everybody should take a cut, including relays. “Mining” attention but now entirely conscentful and fair, unlike traditional social media!

It just dawned on me that its very likely we will *never* see 1sat/vB again. The economic incentive to grab the free blockspace and inscribe BRC-20 tokens and .sats namds is too high. In fact you’d be stuppid not to do so whenever you see blockspace is really cheap.

Folks I think freedom might be antifragile, there are enough smart people around to make it so that any large scale attack on freedom is met by stronger resistance with tech that's entirely based on math and physics. This is beautiful.
