Last Notes npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I believe the solution is the following: You solve it with your parents/grandparents. If every milennial solves it with their attached boomer counterpart, as millennials know how to deal with hard problems, it will solve most issues. I dealt with my parents and grandparents myself. Talked everything through with them around 15 years ago. Got all my share from their wealth when the time came, cascading properly, through parents who cascaded further the shares I would get from them. With realtively even between grandkids and kids. They knew the drill, we knew the drill. My greatest generation and boomer frictions are solved financially and respect-wise, many years ago. What else could I ask for? I hope you guys will have that sorted for yourselves too! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I really like my fiat grinding job. Not 100% because of the job as per job description but how I can provide value my co-workers as to the company. Actually all in my professional career I was in value 4 value (with cap on what I get for provided). I was always got promoted faster or got extra raise or bonuses (or all of them at the same year) as I provided higher value than most of my colleagues. It is much harder to multiply it further as I am now an Associate Director, but can get a few % extra here and there. I think the message is that it does not matter what you do but constantly provide value. Although the above tricked me a bit and started late to save money properly, but I try to solve that part now. I hope you will find your place meanwhile you work towards your freedom! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Yes. Also, you can call each other with many models. I think it is also a better way than just simply airtag the kid, although that might be a solution. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I have quite the opposite. My mother was helicoptering me. Now I try to be my mix of a real millenial mindset with baby boomer boundaries if that is understandable. I want to give them more freedom and flexibility within hard boundaries on pre-set rules. All in all, I am a strange parent now here in Sweden, coming from Hungary. I let them explore but don't let them do dumb sht, what them from afar and expect them to behave as per my laid out rules even if I can't see them and they get a hard talk if they disobey but if they can bring up a proper argument against my judgement I am open even on the spot to change. Hard stuff, not just for me but for them. Also we are not afraid to shout to each other in public "I love you!", "I am proud of you!", "Get over here, instantly!" and "What on earth were you thinking?" sometimes with one breath. Also, family first, individual after mentality. I treat them (currently 7 and 4) as highly intelligent wild dogs. It works fine for us so far, even with my non-verbal autistic boy. But this is constantly evolving and soon we get to a stage when they get a gps watch so I can track and call them so can do much more on their own, of course situation-environment-age appropriateness considered. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka We do it similarly. We both do research on different things, what I find I change a bit earlier, she is unsure on my change, we act parallel, she learns about it from someone else, she changes behavior. It is easier for me to change when she decides as she is fully responsible for groceries and household so I have no other choice. :) Does not matter a little adjusting time for me, in the end we aim for the same goal. Better healthspan. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka As they should be :) I believe I would be more worried and axious about my kids future if their present wouldn't be full of challenges. My nerves will never be the same, but they will develop strong ones too. Keep it up! I wish you good sleep paired with the crazy days. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka In the past (almost a decade ago) I often intentionally took my dogs to a walk without my phone so I can be in the present with them. A good 20-40 min walk after work sniffing lamp posts and grass. Then I found out there are podcasts and if I do not listen to one I feel I am missing out an opportunity to learn what is a fake feeling as I do not remember almost anything of what I listen to :D So for a year now I try to get hooked off and even if I have my phone with me and walking or driving doing it in silence. Sometimes it is nice, but hard to get off the juice. I like the watch-phone back-up idea. I also tried to find a phone what has e-ink display, has 5G capability for GPS but does not support much else over maybe reading ebooks. No luck yet or maybe I just don't trust enough of the brands who currently provide something similar. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka All is great here, nothing to complain about. It is not a challenge, not larger than any kid for us, he is the firstborn, he sets the standard. Maybe geyser would be a good idea for then, I do not know how it works. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I listened to the tapes. As a father of a non-verbal autistic boy (7), I totally resonate with it. Seen my fair share of indirect events that point to the same conclusion. We just started to learn to spell so will see what he will tell me when he is ready to discuss deeper topics. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka If there is a study, there is an article on pubmed. If you link it than the post has some base. Not everyone will watch the full video to extract it. Just a tip from someone who actually helps to plan cancer clinical research. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I totally get why people would say and believe this. Products feel good, looks fantastic, marketing is great, have a cult around. Indeed comfy and safe feeling. I wanted to jump on this wagon but never had enough money to do so. Never found a cheaper but as luxury feeling from any brand-environment, I thought I will find it with Samsung but it was somehow a bit off. I am a big fan of one-stop-shop solutions. Just we would need those that aims to smaller groups also, not just the million sized ones. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I feel it realistic for kids under 10, what is 25+ winter piece and 25+ summer piece and they grow almost everything out a year. I think I bought as average around 10-12 pieces (shoes and coat in, so all thing except underwear and socks) per year and every 3-4 years the number doubled as I slightly changed my style plus wear and tear before I had the kids. Now in the past 7 years as I am in home office all the time and do less sports it is even less but also I will need a full closet refresh and for that I would need 30 or more pieces. I am an eastern european male who is not heavily social, that should heavily affect these numbers. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Mooses in the fog. #moostr https://m.primal.net/OUOd.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Congrats to you both! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I can believe that, 100%. I want to have a family farm and generally delusional, so I fit the pattern here. :) npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Same here. I can't really change in the same professional area for a different job role as I would need to drop salary significantly. I have side-projects and fluctuating larger-smaller hobbies that make life and also work really enjoyable, though. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I get the joke but I believe it is more dependent how much they learn and how hard they work in the awake hours than when they woke up in the past. 'Must' is a big motivator. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka #women #longevity #stockholm npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Women & Longevity Summit at Stockholm 2024 - Watch the event on youtube! We had an event in 2024 at Stockholm about Women and Longevity. It was great, not just because of the presenters but the nice and caring people who came for this common cause. Now you can view the recording and re-live the experience what we had. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLexWdeAMoDMyTBIr1MecEOoEi_Bjvky58 Enjoy! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I would be happy to flex with my HRV. I am happy of I reach 70. Resting heart rate is 62-64 when healthy (kids take home a lot of stuff from the preschool). Blood pressure is 130/76 usually. ~110 kg, overweight. My sleep performance according to my Fitbit Charge 6 is about 77 - 83%, and on days when it is 85-87 (happened only a few times since I have it for the past almost year), I feel like a superhero. Stressful job, two small kids, single earner, single driving license holder on the countryside is my circumstance what is a better background compared to what I had few years ago so this is the point I am improving from. 2025 is the year where I will implement more changes for my health. Still need to learn/practice mote how to mentally chill outside of the gym. I also decided to stop playing american football and that helps me with avoiding further concussions and focus better on weight loss, as last year even with 110kg I was small in the Swedish DIV2 league versus the most of the other linemen. Anyway, keep flexing, we need more people pay attention to that. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I love the oldschool Critters movie vibe! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I hope the majority of their training data was based on Saint Bernard dog research material. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I really like to drive in snowing, it is so calming. Had much less snow this winter here than usual... But until the start of April it can come anytime so I am hopeful. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I like when they come up with non-carnivore animal names. I think it is fun too. I believe sometimes a name needs to be more catchy than majestic. I do think LLaMa is crewtive for an LLM. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Bulls in the fog. #cowstr #bullstr https://m.primal.net/OCWX.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I am 100% fine with that lifepath. I can find my fun and meaning in it. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I work for non-tech large corp as an Associate Director. It was a one time I pushed back to be present on a call starting from 6 pm with a client as I wanted to be with my kids (was vocal about it), due to the fact that professionally I assesed and I was not a must have. I got escalated to CEO level by the internal team, they took away the project instantly and had a few conversations about my place in the company. I was told I am not a team player and not flexible and many other things. After I worked day-and-night on other project and on calls whenever it was needed. A month later on my year end review I was praised by my questioned colleagues about how much a teamplayer I am. I learned a very important lesson: Work is not family, I believed that so before. What changed? I am on all calls whenever it is needed but parallel I am there for my kids as they are below camera level height as I work from a standing desk. Mic is strictly off unless I need to speak. This is the way until I can work on my own. There it might get tricky as they will be bigger and they might get an assistant seat (if interested) on similar calls to learn and to give me their input as they will see the world differently. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka From that point we change to galaxy-family and won't be foreginers or aliens anywhere just fellow travellers sharing the beautyful galaxy. I hope but no-border galaxy seems a bit large bite from this point I am in. Will try to grow in mindset meanwhile. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I feel the same as you, hence I start to take this topic extremely seriously. I learn and make more and more changes. Eg: I decided to stop American Football for real, told my team. Too much risk in it for me close to 40 and interferes with calorie reduction/weight loss, etc. The more you know on how you can biohack yourself, the more optimistic you will be about your aging body. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka It is time to jump on the #longevity train, my friend! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Awesome Illusion of Magic Dust aka Dusty, when he looks like a proper dog. Rare moment. #dogstr https://m.primal.net/NqZn.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I can't wait for his and the other similarly influential figures' grandpa time stories when finally they are in peace and happy to tell. Will be entertaining for my granda ears. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I understand where you come from this. I was into body building and health for a very long time now. Even in the early 2000s I knew much more of health, food and supplement than anyone else around me. Even made a personal trainer certification. The knowledge I posessed is questionable, but still in theory I had it all to be a lean and fit person. I was overweight, I am still overweight. I never had the mental power to keep on track. The most dangerous thing was always that when thing platoed I got in love and changed methodology and distraction happened. Due this reason I never felt comfortable talking about weight loss with anyone really, but only muscle building and strength training. Most probably that's why I never worked as a PT after my cert. Strict carnivore is still yet to come, I need to talk it through with my wife. But to summarize and switch the statement: Fat people shouldn't feel comfortable giving fat loss advice. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka The hype is real. I hope I will be a superhero tomorrow. #marvel #myprotein #superhero https://m.primal.net/NagM.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka When I was a kid I put corn flakes on margarine covered bread. For every new pack of corn flakes, if I left out around a week between packs, I needed to eat min 3 portions in a row to start to feel its taste, as I have explained to my parents. Noone thought something is off in my family... 25+ years later finally I do not miss the taste. My kids (6, 4) doesn't really know what these things are and even not interested in them. I am amazed of their science and what it did with me. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I definately think they will be better. They will run it with AI employees. But seriously, it is a question where humans will find their place in the new environment. We will co-work or separately or in a hierarchy? We will see... My desired worst case is I want to be kept as a pet like a dog :) npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka That is nice. I like those days! During the summer I can get to 25k without leaving the yard, just being outside with the kids. What is your daily average? I go around 13k in the summer and 11k in the winter. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I use a standing desk mainly for ~6 six years now. I love it, my posture is better and I have an average 1000 - 2000 extra steps per day with it. It is not just that I pace around a bit but it is easier to step away from my desk to get water or just to spend a few relaxing minutes doing something else instead of using the computer in that time, even if I check something on my phone. I had some hip and knee issues during this time and for a few weeks I changed back to sitting then standing again. All these issues came from my fault what I suggest avoid: standing too much on one leg. Put away all clutter like boxes under the desk or behind you so you avoid placing one feet somewhere so you end up standing like a stork like I did. And I still repeat this mistake. You do not need an electric sitting-standing, a manual is good enough if you do not change multiple times a day. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka My favourite is purple (in combination with black if possible) but always try to paint with red if possible. My boy wants to paint with red too when he can. I was not and he is not bound. Glad you are out of this boundary too in a way. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka This is a good story and not because you made a financial decision, that seems to be right based on knowledge and faith. But because as a family, the basic unit, together you guys invested into your wife and her future directly. You shared the pie what you have, for a future larger and happier pie. Where the money came from, is the less important part of the story in my view. Good luck for you guys in the future. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Great idea! Let's see how it unfolds. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Interesting. Another study haven't found correlation/changed risk. We will need 10 more years to see what is the case as in high school when most of the girls are diagnosed and before that if I am correct it is mostly the serious and mostly boys get diagnosed. https://www.cuimc.columbia.edu/news/pandemic-era-babies-do-not-have-higher-autism-risk-finds-study npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka What is the better for BTC adoption on large scale, if it goes way higher or stays for a year or two in the 60-100k range? npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I went through an ~10 year change from lot of milk and sugar to no sugar just milk to less milk to dark and only espresso. I am a dark espresso person now. First I was just throwing it down the hatch, now I drink it slow. Life is good. I love change. BTW I use dark coffee not just to start the day but to close it if I do an early day (~14-15) end of my eating window. Sometimes if I am really hungry I brew a dark decaf and drink it and solves my hunger, or I do the same if there is an event and everyone drinks/eats something but I simply don't want to. So it is not part of my tricks to balance calorie intake. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Good point. I love that my band reminds me to move every hour, so I don't forget to step away from my desk to do some armrotations, a bit of a walk, sometimes KB swings or some DB exercises, indeed for max 2-3 minutes. I use a standing desk and the difference for me compared to a sitting is an average steps per day betwen 1-2K. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka You are in #TeamFullROM too? :) Nice! Although, I strongly believe there is place for half-squats. I found them wonderful in bodyweight or low weight setup with very high reps. For a few months before my previous season of american football I prepared for the conditioning entry part with 200 half-squats every night before I went to bed (first 4x50, then 3x70) as an addition to my regular gym and kettlebell workouts. It did wonders and had no issue to step into the grind again. And I feel it as a success close to 40. I wouldn't do it anymore but in the past as I recall (~15 years ago), I was also doing (for me) heavy half squats as I was afraid of squatting and the weight itself. Actually I still do not prefer bar squat, maybe I am still scared of it after ~22 years gym experince. I am not hardcore. :) npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka 40%! Good progress. Keep it going. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I think it was an individual vs family issue combined with calling back, mainly.. Many times at initial contact not the whole family was present just one grown-up, and they didn't wanted to stay without the family or the family didn't wanted them to stay without them. And rarely dare to ask if they can bring the family. Obviously it could be also that the time is never right... And money. They don't want to be a financial burden, no proper place to call back the organizer, no money to bring "enough" to take share in the event, or to call back to one. Social awkwardness, as they didn't used to similar things outside of family. "Old boys stories and drinking" started earlier so loud tipsy guys with inappropriate language and stories could get to focus easily. Can be less appealing to many especially with small kids. (I grew up that way and loved it to see and listen, I am glad for the 90s) And all of the combination. What I will try to do different when I will have a chance and won't live in the middle of nowhere or even more effort in a similar farm that I live now: - I won't do just ad-hoc invitations but for some who I wish to see in advance from the possible newcomers/irregulars. - Make sure to get the message through that all family is welcome (kids and grandparent higlight and discussion here as God knows what's the family situation there; dog and disability friendly is a harder nut to crack but with both in the family I would do my best to discuss and manage) - I highilght that it is a community event and they do not need to bring anything and not expected they need to call me back or throw a community event - No hard stard date, drop-in for a short time is fine - Will try to limit alcohol total or push most of the consumption to a later time so family vs old boys fun is separated in time - Will have a ground rules charter printed and hang of these and based on what I learn so it is like a contract with these rules - Utilize wife's senses as I am a social dumbshit :) - Have a a discussed and wifey's agreed separate item in Our family budget for the community that makes this avalable (as it was an argument starter in my parent's life frequently) npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka This year's Christmas present. Lamborghini Vision Nice set, 10+ year rating is legit, I messed up a few small pieces and there are lots of stickers too. Overall looks really good and feels good. Not necessarily a model to play with, more of a decoration IMHO. Some pieces can fall easily like exhaust, a few fins and moderately hard to keep on the front fenders as per my 4yo's test. Great model for price for mininal play. #LEGO #LAMBO #lamborghini https://m.primal.net/NIHD.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I grew up that way. My father barbequed in a parking lot in front of our garage at least once a week for years. The garage was in front of a 4 storey building with 30+ apartments in it. When a neighbor passed he greeted them had a chat and invited them to join frequently if not all the time. 80% of them never joined, 10% very rarely and just 10% regularly. We also had people eating with us this way who just had garage in the same line or ran local shops and such. He really tried his best to be part of the community but not many people wanted to join. Most people we had were working class, some intellectuals but all around the same economic background. It was great to grow up that way! It is interesting to reflect on it, how it was in Eastern Europe in the 90s. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Hit it hard! I loved Christmas workouts. I did mostly chest as noone was camping on the benches. Now I just relax and enjoy time with my kids knowing I did my best a few days before and will do also a few days after. Enjoy the holiday season! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Thanks. Sweater, hat + scarf combo, accidentally matches. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I am not yet enlightened, but looking forward to see! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Slow times. Family together. I was coloring with the kids. It feels like therapy, stress is just vanishing. Long time haven't done childish stuff? Give it a chance! Play, experiment, have fun with basic things. You might enjoy it again. https://m.primal.net/NFQh.jpg https://m.primal.net/NFQi.jpg https://m.primal.net/NFQj.jpg https://m.primal.net/NFQk.jpg npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka How do you guys imagine this? How to avoid adopting Yuan instead of USD upon dollar failure? npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Haven't done it for a while. Somewhere above 10, I assume. As I still have american football practices every week. Around 10 years ago I lived in a 4 storey building on the third floor and was climbing stairs every morning somewhere between 40-60min listening to Warhammer 40K audiobooks. I had great looking legs back then. The Emperor was pleased. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Both. Both thing is a hobby can't really make a living out of it. I am an Ecologist by degree and wanted to be really scientifical, protect and study, then realized it would be a life with much uncertainties. All respect who do it full time, and for everyone who thinks about these ideas in their daily lives. I believe in the end what we achieve counts, and less the ideology behind, at this topic. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka With a nice outrageous personality that could be a stable income source. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Happy holidays! I hope kiddo gets well fast and you guys don't catch it. That would be a Christmas miracle though. We just closed our season sickness a few days before, that's daddy's present. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Oh, no. I played all MMOs alone. I hope I can change the pattern with this one. :) npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I feel that often too, and then I realize how much I have developed in the past 15 years and I am proud. Somehow I always loved my actual stage. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Sure thing. Thank you for bringing up the topic. Obviously it is important to try to hit the right time and right amount but life is life. I strongly believe in being a kid is an advantage in getting used to real life happenings. I try my best and when they will be 30 they will tell me how I have done. npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka I would have done the same. You need to protect the family, including pets and act with the same force you face. I feel strongly also about teaching the kids that violence is part of nature and we don't live in a bubble. They need to understand it, so others who also do and want to prey on them with it are less able to. We are pretty open with death also, on their level. When they saw how our dog killed a mouse we discussed it. Why it happened, how it happened, and why it is ok, and when it would not be. Actually your described situation, when animals fight, is why we bought now a standard (large) poodle. It won't pick a fight but with it's height and ~kg weight it can survive and handle most animal attacks without the kids need to interfere. I really wanted a stafford again, but my four year old girls charming, giggling, bubbly voice is not enough in a situation to call back when it thinks it protects the family. In a few years she could also handle that if we raise her right. Go daddy, this is the way! npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Greetings - I realized I need to hear more visionary ideas and collaborate more, so I am here! Happy to collaborate with you guys around #clinicaltrials #longevity #exercisescience and #autism as these areas are my main interest at the moment. I am many things: Dad, dog-friend, american football player, gymlover, clinical trial professional and a happy corporate drone. I love my life, happy to expand further. Cheers! #introduction #introductions npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Since I have seen the video on Laser Weeder from Carbon Robotics I know how it unfolds. https://youtu.be/X0AqgWQzrVA?si=Yu5XZHeOU9_5NsCj npub1g5ve97qulvmnvkf6z5u0k5pexazj47l62pf6j400ssh2tyunah2sngrdq9 Laszlo Csurka Interesting that I can repeat what most others just said. - Continue to work hard but on things that interest me, especially in connection to local community - Create a close to sustainable family farm - Focus more on my kids' personal development I try to take steps towards these even within the current grind, and making reasonable progress. But I have to admit, I love my corporate grind too...
