Last Notes npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Interesting idea! npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett We prefer @nprofile…5l8j, because they allow us to pay in sats 🧡 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Is it really *fully* custodial when the mint has no idea who holds the notes they issue? Clearly not the same as what is usually meant when referring to custodial wallets. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Maybe LNBits can probide the agent-usable API with pluggable wallet backe-ends? Just a guess. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett It's Cashu based, so "semi-custodial" 😛 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Haven't used it, but @nprofile…m76u Ippon looks promising https://minibits.cash/ npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett https://blossom.primal.net/9d467d098bf8c208dc5030adadee01764a922232d76769af55818d49d0812cc3.gif npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Wonderful! There's not enough discussion about how Bitcoin helps to fight poverty. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Glad to see some of our stickers there too! 🧡 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Plett has done far better than anticipated! With people like @nprofile…hv3g igniting the fire, volenteers, merchants, locals and businesses all doing their bit... Plett has become quite the Bitcoin Town. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett See you this afternoon at our Bitcoin Education Evening 🧑🎓📙 https://bitcoinplett.cx/event/bitcoin-meetup-at-surf-cafe-6/ npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Did you miss last year’s Bitcoin Information & Basics session? npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Thanks @nprofile…qyek and sponsors for another inspiring conference! 👏🧡 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Thanks for the Citadel bump, @nprofile…fg9w. At the recent Surfers' Ball - a fundraising event for local causes - we had the opportunity to set up a stand and give attendees some free sats. Of the 100 x 2700 sat vouchers (enough for a drink) we had available, we were able to distribute... 23 😓. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Is @nprofile…ff00 executing a silent takeover of Africa's entire economy? 😜🧡 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Cleaning supplies and toilet paper paid for in sats! #spedn Bitcoin in Plett has never been easier. A shining example of which is @nprofile…tx66, that recently enabled LN payments at about 31k new South African merchants, by integrating their LN payment gateway with Zapper's payment system. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Check out @nprofile…jpe8's new documentary: "Bitcoin Rising – South Africa’s Path to Freedom" npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Bitcoin meetup tomorrow at Bootleggers in Plett. They take sats, and setup was super easy. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Via @nprofile…tx66 npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett This is true for many in Africa too. However, it's hard to blame those too poor to have the luxury of a low time preference for needing the stability of stable coins. npub1gh69gf0k5cw5yh8cvc20hjz0j5vzrmffv9g75ddmhhfe930pptnsmn8pls BitcoinPlett Coffee in Plettenberg Bay for #sats!
