Any recommendations for Laptops specifically for AI usage & possibly editing? I'm completely oblivious regarding tech in this regard, I'm finding having a home lab to increasingly appealing too, but one thing at a time

There seems to be some spam going on under articles, I'm not sure if this is specific to NoorNote I haven't had the chance to look elsewhere yet, but writing this just in case it is indeed specific to NN

Ḥassān b. Thābit (d. before 661):
ṭalabat fuʾādaka fī l-manāmi kharīdatun
tashfī l-ḍajīʿa bi-bāridin bassāmi
ka-l-miski takhliṭuhu bi-māʾi saḥābatin
aw ʿātiqin ka-dami l-dhabīḥi mudāmi
A virgin fair came seeking your heart in dreams;
she heals her lover with a smile both cool and bright,
like musk mingled with the waters of a rain-cloud,
or ancient wine, red as the blood of sacrifice. https://npub1ght2exvpl6vaalns3lsrq5p5huls8j460uyj7mxpldh6vwnrhqmqlqwpww.blossom.band/71b13f64c639e69b72cc98e3231a97bc46a011c2dfb0ea1cb98f7c5ef815fa87.jpg

I've got real Misk that I process myself, additionaly I've got oud, real rose oil & other high quality perfumery ingredients, if there's interest I could sell to anyone who's interested. Though I'll let it be know upfront: it's quite expensive & may take me some time

Oh a fourth category, those that sell perfumes with actual naturals such as oud, misk, rose etc. Beyond just local traditions

Starting to become bleak in this regard in some parts of the old islamicate, you've got outliers like in Oman, where Sultan Qaboos was a heavy scent enthusiast himself and comissioned Anouage, which functions as a major player within the perfumery industry today
Amouage took Omani scent heritage and evolved it, taking the naturals of Oman and mixing them with the synthetics of the modern world
Then you have in parts of the Old Islamicate spread all throughout niche local perfumes that are rare, genuine gems to stumble upon
And lastly, you have those who basically just go all in with synthetic ouds, musks etc. all the high-sounding words that evoke a certain imagery, but in actuality just sell cheap synthetics repackaged & rebranded
A lot of the western "Islamic" online shops fall under this too selling "white musk" "red musk" etc. it's often pretty generic and bereft of beauty & creativity Imo

Certainly an option but if possible I'd like to develop understanding without relying on AI , I've been using it too much 🫠

oh then that's a not a viable option for the time being, I saw some quotations of Guenon on the SAIF blogs and thought it to be interesting, my interest went off of those given what was mentioned was understandable
I've only recently started getting into philo, specifically introductory works from the tradition & metaphysics from aristo otherwise likely nothing except understanding I might've picked up in pieces here & there, not systematic

I'm at that stage, I know that Nostr is somehow good, however I don't have a proper grasp around it.
Bitcoin I understand and thus have conviction of
I know parts of Nostr like it being decentralised, not being subject to the algorithm, those are enough to get me but overall I don't understand the foundation yet I believe
I wonder if I could for example sell products on here, I'm not sure what the Nostr community would think about that, generally I think I'm not fully in on it just yet

As-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah,
I may need some help to get onto NoorNote, Nostr is still completely foreign to me so I'm not quite sure how to go about this:
The remote signer Idk what that is nor do I know about Amber, I already have a Nostr account but I'm not sure how to log in with it on NoorNote
Currently I'm using Amethyst, but I'd like to switch, if God wills it

He might need a push in the right direction, I remember when someone first introduced me properly into FOSS & Bitcoin, I got hooked right away simply because I did not know about these actual alternatives prior
