I finally gave this classic a try. I'd read lots of reviews on it and it still wasn’t quite what I expected. Of all the pipe tobacco I have (30+ blends) this is the one that tastes most like a cigaratte. This tastes like what an American would say “tobacco” tastes and smells like.
I haven’t smoked cigarettes in a long time, but this was very familiar. It tasted like the highest quality no-additive cigaratte you can imagine. Of all of my blends and myriad nicotine delivery devices - it’s the only one that’s given me a nicotine buzz.
I’d buy more of this, definitely - but I do prefer a lot of other aromatic and english blends to it.

Cool. I use blossom.band for images. I’m talking about 30-90 minute 4k videos at 300GB+ though.
I have a few blossom servers up, testing with nostrcheck. blossom-server, and route96. I’m behind starlink and using cloudflare tunnels, which have a filesize limit, so I will need to use backblaze or s3 for storage, unfortunately.
Also a lot of these are preconigured to use traefik as a proxy - which also has a filesize limit. Nginx can resolve that, but then I still have cloudflare - It’s never easy.

I got into smoking cigars like 20 years ago. I figured I don’t drink alcohol and wanted a defined gentlemanly hobby.. so I went cigar nuts.
So I could smoke cigars in the house I bought this well reviewed ozone generate to combat the smell. It was like $300 - and when I got it, I was pretty disappointed at what a cheap device it is.
After some months, it stopped working and I reached out to the company. It was out of warranty of course, but they offered me a 10% coupon on a new one.
So now I’m like 500 bucks into this POS and a few months later it stops working again. Since I spent so much on the thing I never got rid of it.
I just decided to pull this fucker out and take a look.
There’s a device in these called a corona discharge plate. It works by using high voltage to split oxygen (O2) molecules into atoms, and then when they recombine they do it into ozone (O3) molecules.
Yeah, it gets dirty. I just had to wipe it off.

I'm trying to post longform video to nostr and I'm not sure what the right way is. Obviously, just posting a link to youtube is the easiest, but I also set up an IPFS node as well as a couple blossom servers.
I tried route96 as well as nostrcheck-server and while they both work for images, if I try to upload a larger mp4 file, the frontend pukes with:
The requested file could not be read, typically due to permission problems that have occurred after a reference to a file was acquired.
Does anyone know what this is about? I have plenty of storage and would prefer to host my own content, but I can't quite find the right way to do that.

Well it also depends on the protocol, the filesystem, how many levels of abstraction and containerization we're playing with, and a lot of things.
I'm not opposed to blossom, or whatever works, I just want to be able to post a link to a file and have the video play, preferably with a thumbnail and video controls.

I don't just take pictures, I also play radio.
This is my first Parks on the Air - #POTA activation. I drove out to a remote park in Arizona and set up a mobile radio station to make as many contacts as possible. It totally worked.

This is from an old ghost town called Rhyolite in Nevada, on the border of Death Valley. It’s the old mining site where they used to get the Borax, with the 20 mule team. I spent all night out there trying to get this picture perfect. It’s the first image that really made me decide - alright, astrophotography is what I’mma do. This is for me.
It’s also the first time I realized that someone put art out in the middle of nowhere, just for me to find and be amazed. It changed my appreciation of art, and the course of my life.
I quit my fancy tech job and started a media company, sold my house, and now I travel to the dark places in my RV and take pictures of the sky.
