Good call, @Rabble.
I run a @npub126n…e9ll and their built in marketplace’s #Nostr #relay application with a private relay set up. I’ve whitelisted my npub for my app usage to allow writing to it.
But, I can’t seem to use it.
I use @Nos.social , @Primal , and @Nostur on iOS, and @NoStrudel on the Start9. Among the iOS clients I can’t get the ws:://***.onion address to work in my relay settings, nor do I know where my iOS apps will default write my posts to.
I also want my relay to permanently store my content. But I don’t know how it can be configured to do that.
Would love more clarification on how to set this up.

Success! That script was golden. Used it to find the passphrase among a bunch of options that were the type that my friend would have used. So helpful to have a script hammering it with the dictionary of options and token sets. I tipped the guys maintaining it and moved my friend’s sats to safety. I appreciate the help!

This cappuccino fueled my research into how to brute force a passphrase on a wallet where I have the seed phrase and the XFP.

This is what I’ve been craving on here since hopping into Nostr a couple weeks ago. I want not just customized search but also sort and filter based on interactions like zaps and likes. Full customizables and see what my use and the use of others does to not only our feeds but to the I reactions of all users that start to learn that people are filtering in certain ways. It’ll let us align the rewards with the desired behavior in the environment.
As on Reddit, I like that the most upvotes are at the top of the comments. But more importantly, that the downvoted stuff is there if I want to scroll for it, but otherwise it’s no longer in. Y face as the community has done some management of it. For Nostr, maybe more zaps or likes pushes good content higher and would reward healthy engagement among users and encourage the right kind of content that the community thinks is worth promoting.
Just thinking out loud as I use a new environment.

I really wanted to visit the team over at @npub1tg7…cxmt while I was in Zürich a few weeks ago, but this water park on the western shore of the Zürichsee is as close as I got. I have found that your BitBox02 hardware wallet is my favorite on-the-go travel wallet. I just pictured them answering the door when I came knocking, and just seeing me standing there in a dumb grin with no appointment and no real reason to show up except to say “hi” and see a headquarters of great stuff.

@npub1man…n9tn thanks for the paid relay tip. As a new user, I signed up with @npub1pu3…tfch, which is in beta on iOS, so it looks like my username is stuck to them. But I like the UI of @npub12vk…pugg better and switched over to that iOS client. Know of a way to push my content over to IG or X automatically from my Nostr post? I love the idea of posting more often again but don’t want to maintain multiple apps and most real-world friends are on other apps. Maybe it’s a relay service? Thoughts? Still getting my head around it all.
