@npub16mt…pnwy Channels are a bit of a flawed concept anyway.
If you don’t want to use flakes you could use Niv or a similar tool.
I can’t find it right now but there was a nice blog post about this topic.

@npub1wst…ez75 I personally care for the privacy improvements much more than the homescreen improvement. Control center could be useful and RCS is nice as well.

I just "wasted" multiple hours to write a script that does the following.
- Extract a website title and remove non-ascii characters and replaces spaces with underlines
- Download the website as an epub, with the modified title as the filename
- Open the Downloads directory in nautilus when it's done
The idea is to use my kindle more for reading articles because I get less distracted.
There are much easier options, of course, but I enjoyed the little project.

I think I've seen it posted here somewhere but anyway this is one of the best #Nix guides I've read so far, very pragmatic.
It doesn't cover flakes but it is still a good read.
Hopefully not too out of date since the last commit was three years ago. 😅
