Wow, the passport office got quick all of a sudden. I went to Service Canada on the 13th to submit it and the passport was mailed by the 18th, now out for delivery.

Thanks Stacey. Yeah, I have a protocol for my rescue inhaler on top of my regular controllers. I'm due tomorrow for my next biologic injection. I wonder if that's a contributing factor - I already have that thawing so I can use it today.
And yeah, the Okotoks Health and Wellness Center is a pretty good place for asthma walk-ins in case I can't regain control.
So far, I think my rescue inhaler is helping. I can still pull a few other tricks out of my hat before I start to worry hard. 😂

My SpO2 went down to 89% today, and peak flow is at 60%. I'm borderline on seeking medical attention. Must be all the construction air quality and the poor sleep. Got intimate with my HEPA filter and started my yellow asthma action plan.

Heh I've never heard of a dopamenu before. But, I can relate to this, especially that hunt for things that spark joy!
Back in my bird site days, I followed someone who often said this or that set their soul on fire. It was a great reminder to try and find things to be passionate about.
Maybe it's like meal planning and picking more dopaprotein instead of all carbs. In that respect, I guess I try, but sometimes when I don't meal plan, I get into the potato chips. 😂

Haha possibly. I'd go insane - my island's my food prep station.
If it's in the cards, for a couple hundred bucks you can get a rolling island. Once the permanent island is back, the roller could be a second prep station for really big meals.

I could be wrong, but from Carney's speech, I get the sense he rejects Neoliberalism and free markets, saying that it, "represents a fundamental misunderstanding of how the economy works." So, in that, there may be some hope on the LPC side. If they win, we'll see - per the analysts, the LPC swing in the last few weeks may have put them in a dead heat, so there's that.

I'd say the one your boy enjoys the most is probably the one to go with.
It's hard to judge what he'll enjoy more, which is why I'd suggest trying a few arts and schools. He might like punching or kicking more than throwing, grappling, locks, or whatever. Sometimes making a few really great friends at class makes all the difference too.
If a form of jiu-jitsu or boxing are nearby, those are great to start at his age too. :)

I do the same now haha. I think there's this other thing too where, for example, we may be in a parasocial, asymmetric relationship. I may know a lot about you because I read your posts all the time, but you may not know me from Adam, because I don't post, you don't recognize me from my posts, or whatever. Without that awareness, I might mistake my familiarity with you with mutual familiarity, and then there's a problem. People need to think about that before posting too. 🥲

I didn't really get the video gamey sense, but I think I get why. I felt more like the show was a little too immature for me, much how I feel about most anime these days.

We watched it. Neither of us played LoL, so it was all new. It was okay, but not really my cup of tea. I got the impression it was for young adult audiences. We sprinted through it and probably won't be watching season 2.

Lol! It's from martial arts training. We were pressure testing partner knife drills last night.
The thumb-side wrist marks are primarily from my partner blocking low-line sewing machine-style stabs.
The palm-adjacent one is from me blocking the same stabs from him.
The outside wrist mark was from my partner holding my wrist while transitioning to a hammerlock.
I can't remember what the ones higher forearm are from. It happens.
It's fun though. 😂

They'll basically sit on the network, plugged into ethernet, and run a little utility program I develop in rust. No real performance requirements beyond having at least a few hundred megs of ram.
To get them going, ideally I would use an ubuntu core image with dhcp and ansible node configs. I pictured writing the images over USB or on 10 sdcards, then manage the fleet OTA, or something like that.

Are Raspberry Pi still the best choice for tiny, low-power Linux boxes? I want to set up a fleet of ten of them or so and scatter them across a building where maybe there's an ethernet port and wall power, but I want it cheap. Any tips folks?
