#3dprinting #prusa users, I have a MK4S, is there a way I can put a camera in it and have it show up in PrusaLink, the local network interface?
All the info I find on the internet is about Prusa Connect, the internet-based service.

At the risk of being a bit whataboutist, but the people who feel put off by posting etiquette enforcement don't necessarily feel the same way about similar networks that *also* do not have that kind of tooling. Or concretely, why are people on BS or X or wherever more lenient?
So in my opinion there is indeed some stricter expectation of norms on Mastodon (or the Fediverse at large, as one very tiring conversation I had the other day made salient) In my opinion it definitely feels like "defending against Eternal September", which by definition is going to restrict how many people are able to participate in the network, despite it being technologically open.
I also don't think a technical solution would ever be sufficient, at the end of the day it's people talking at eachother, and they need to figure out how to be understood and understand others. You can't automate empathy.

Not automatically a "massive security issue", as it's a WASM module with no access to any system APIs, and sandboxed.
Sure, more features are always more surface area that could be exploited, especially when talking about a JIT interpreter.
But if that's your worry, well, browsers can already run JS which have wayyyyyyy more attack surface than WASM.
Browsers do use Harfbuzz, but I don't know if they build it with that feature enabled.

that is literally illegal in many jurisdictions, wow. I thought the spam legislation back in the 2000s solved this.

I'm not a fillmaker, but I've observed this kind of fading on film films. The following is an observation that doesn't answer your question.
The text is stencil'd, a light exposes it to the frame, the light is smoothly dimmed off. Such as that at full power it overexposes the film making it white.
I think this effect happens physically, when the light is not a point source, there are no lenses in the stencil stage, you would get this kind of fuzzy unfocused bleed.
If I had to reproduce this digitally, start with a distance field text, additive blend it with a wide contrast range, animating the zero point together with the opacity.

my friend had onde of these when we were kids, was still good fun.
Came with exclusively romhacks, some of which had content ill-advised for children, such as Penisian, Galaxian where you are a male genitalia that shoots at diverse other related iconography.
Battle City was the best of the ones he had, I don't think that one was hacked.
