It’s crazy that New York’s BitLicense still blocks so many modern crypto tools. Other states can use apps like Strike and Cash App Lightning, but we are locked out. How do we actually fix the BitLicense so tjose in NY can participate? I feel like emailing our reps is useless.

I’m not a developer and I barley understand how Nostr functions. Does it even make sense to consider going to #nostrica ? Testing out umbrel to run a node. It’s was incredibly easy to install and sync. After this I think I’ll just try the bitcoin-core set up. I can’t believe I never tried this before. But this whole Nostr phenomenon is inspiring me!
