I'm using KDE Plasma and the full set of KDE sw for the last 2 years. Holy shit how I love the KDE backup and KDE Connect apps, they're absolute MUST HAVES that I always recommend to anybody, rlly. When you work on your pc and copy something, it's instantly copied on your phone too. FANTASTIC, so beautiful, so fast, best ux!

Why xaps? Why not just use the word "zap" as a cryptocurrency tip (inc xmr tip)? :)

You can add your Monero address for private zaps!

I'm testing Ditto, the nostr client (https://soapbox.pub/ditto) and I rlly like it! If a user has filled their xmr address for zaps, then you can finally send them Monero. Great! :)

If you're planning to buy a secure phone, choose rather the Pixel 8, 9 or 10 series, bcs Google/Pixel removed an important security feature from the 11 series.
Or wait for the Motorola Graphene OS phone

Lightning is actually gambling. When you want to send or receive a transaction, you actually spin the casino slot and wait with the faith of the entire universe that it hits this time and probably it does what it should do this time.

Ohhh god how I hate Lightning, it's the shittiest payment tech I have ever used in my fkn entire life.. it's just unusable, I cannot use this crap.. even when I want to test it again for Zapping on Nostr.. after all these years.. god... it still hates me.. again and again.. every time I lose money due to some strange bugs and it never works in my hands. In comparison with onchain payments I had ZERO problems in my entire life, onchain just WORKS EVERY time and I have never lost funds here.
I don't hate LN in a vacuum, if Lightning was actually usable and worked, I wouldn't hate this tech, but as I said, this tech just doesn't work. Every time I try to use this supertech, EVERY TIME something goes very strange..
Ah, yeah, I had zero problems with custodial LN wallets, it just works how I want to see how self-custody should work..
my fav decentralized payment tech ✨
God, please save me 🙏

I'm watching a video tutorial on YT by some software dev.. ohhh god.. How ugly it is to see how the dev is trying to use fkn Windows 11 for programming... How horrible it looks, the dev experience is a total zero in comparison with the Linux UX.. I switched to Arch nearly 3 years ago. What he does on Windows with like dozens of clicks, losing a huge amount of time... I do with the same result near instantly using only a few commands in the terminal... I've heard a lot that "Linux has a bad UX," and I never agreed with that, it's a total bullshit position by a person who has never used Linux. I used Windows for a huge part of my life, and I NEVER missed this OS when I learned basic Linux commands and started using it in my daily life.
Use Linux bro, drop the Microslop shit off your work table

The world is full of normies, they never think yourself, they just keep led by pastors. So i think Monero (or another project with these ideals) never will be grown on the entire world, cuz the entire world are just npcs literally and the freedom is never given, but hardly fighted yourself - too uncomfy

"Monero’s adoption in darknet marketplaces (DNMs) has also grown. Recent data shows a continued structural shift toward XMR-only markets, particularly in environments facing sustained enforcement pressure. In 2025, nearly half (48%) of newly launched darknet markets supported only Monero — a notable increase compared to earlier years. This trend is especially pronounced in Western-facing markets, where privacy coins appear to be a direct response to improved tracing capabilities on Bitcoin and stablecoins."

Lmao, there are so many tears about the price of "DiGitAl GoLD - BiTcOiN" it's so cringe to see your crying posts guys.
Why are you calling yourself something like a "bitcoin maxi"? All your interests and all what you think about is just looking at charts on green Uncle Sam's paper bucks numbers per your asset. Again and again when the price of your cryptocurrency goes down by your beloved fiat, you see and start to think that your fiat now has a bigger value to you than your bitcoin in your wallet. All you think is just a number go up against this fiat. You are not a bitcoin/crypto maxis, you are just a fiat maxis and always have been.
What about me? I made a great big beautiful piss deal with any fiat and I have just topped up some credit in the great service - silent.link, bcs I don't need and i don't use your shitty government token fiat for payments (especially on the internet). If price/fiat drops by the next 50%, I will continue to use crypto to make payments like I always do, because this is what cryptocurrency is about and why we have this technology - to free yourself from government financial slavery.
Thankfully, there are also a lot of great guys with the same mindset. Good day to you guys and cheers for a great circus show. 🍷

What does the word "bitcoiner" mean? What should I imagine when I hear it? Personally, I automatically think of a "bitcoiner" as a member of a Bitcoin religious sect. When someone asks, "Are you a bitcoiner?" my answer is always no, even though I sometimes use BTC in my crypto transactions. Are you a normal user who treats it as a tool (like how no one calls themselves a "dollarer", "euroer", or "Czech korunaer", "silverer", etc and others shit), or are you a sect member who proudly calls yourself a "bitcoiner"? Cmn ppl, wake up! Crypto is just a tool - let's stop creating and pushing religious motives.
