My worklife experience says the statement is absolutely correct.
Getting a human to specify what it is they're seeking in terms that can be acted upon with certainty is nigh on impossible in nearly all walks of life, but in software? Not happening. Ever.
Even if the client could get a close approximation, the consultation during development, implementation, and post-implementation that happens is not something an LLM can do.

Chucking a tax on gas exports should have been done from day one.

I just watched the first two episodes of #StarTrek #StarFleetAcademy, and I don't see what all of the bitching has been about.
I expected a hot mess and, frankly, the trailers weren't helping, but I found the episodes fun and an interesting mix of old ST and new.
YouTube is full of "influencers" lambasting the show for reasons I can only assume are associated with gathering clicks. I've never listened to reviewers before, and I'll take this show on its merits going forward too.
My approach to Star Trek has always to watch each movie or show standalone. While I like callbacks and seeing the same actors in roles, "canon" has never been that important to me. It's more about do I enjoy what I'm watching, not is it in line with everything that has gone before.

Well, I finally #AmWatching #Chernobyl.
It's incredibly stressful, largely because I loath bureaucrats, people unqualified for their positions, and bullies. The show is full of that type of person. The actual incident (I refuse to call it an accident) was inevitable in that environment.
It's a brilliant dramatisation, but it's so hard to watch that I'm breaking episodes up with episodes of #TheExpanse, of which I never finished season 2.

On Friday, 21 November 2025, the US FAA issued a security NOTAM cautioning civil aircraft operators about potential dangers in Venezuelan airspace. The American Bald Eagle is a relatively small raptor, is a sea eagle (so doesn't like living away from large bodies of water), catches mostly fish, and prefers carrion but will happily steal prey from other predators. It's quite photogenic.
The Aussie Wedge Tailed Eagle is one of the largest raptors in the world, ranges across all of Australia, prefers hunting live animals, has the best vision of any raptor, and flies higher than many. They'll take on hang gliders and paragliders, and will happily destroy drones. They are not very photogenic; they're all business.
I know which one I prefer to "have my back".

Fair enough, but who claimed it would reduce costs? It may well reduce administrative costs, but certainly, treatment costs will increase initially. Note that the longer a disease progresses before treatment begins, the more expensive treatment is. Stopping a disease in its early stages REDUCES overall costs.

Did you just say the discovering treatable illnesses before they became terminal is a PROBLEM? That using statistical analysis (aka "AI") to diagnose medical issues is a PROBLEM?
Don't use cost of treatment as an excuse to NOT improve health services. Ever.

I don't know who Karl is (OK, I do now: Social Democratic Party member and the Federal Minister of Health), but again, such a use would be appropriate (matching circumstances to illnesses, causation, etc) but only if the information is thoroughly annonymised PRIOR to being accessed by the LLM.

Given how easy it has been to reverse anonymisation to a startling degree if it's not done properly, this is mildly concerning. However, using "AI" (statistical data pattern analysis) with health data IS a good use of the technology.
The data must be anonymised BEFORE it's handed over, though. Data manipulation organisations will NOT do the job properly as it would reduce their opportunities for extracting every last byte of information for onselling.

You might be too young, but when I was a lad in school, we used to get flavoured milk for morning recess every day. White (plain), brown (chocolate), yellow (banana), or green (lime). The brown and yellow were OK, the white was so-so, but the green ... oh, the green. The very definition of yuk! Moreso when the milkman delivered the crates early and left them in the sun. In summer. In Australia. In the edge-of-the-desert town I called home.
I like to think there's a special hell for the inventor of that green milk.

Backup was my biggest headache, after security, back in the day. Working with multiple in-hospital health systems, which are by their nature dynamic (up-to-the-minute dynamic), made kepping data safe in case of hiccough a constant source of ulcers.

As for Federalising the various state National Guard units. Really? Without a declared war and threat of invasion by an opposing force? Then, using those units to enforce his policies in unaligned states... fighting between opposing Guard units becomes a very real possibility. Trump stands to create civil war in the USA in 2025.
