I would never do that 😄
One thing I actually dislike about parts of the community and especially smaller meetups is the high percentage of toxic maxis with extreme (political) views. It's like a fiat doomsday cult sometimes.
The people who I care about and who I'm carefully trying to orange-pill would be appalled and turn their backs on Bitcoin for good.

The question rather is: do we want to live in a world where individuals can amass this kind of (fiat) wealth, while millions are starving?
Let's stop idolizing people like Musk for their wealth, please. They are symptoms of a broken monetary system.

I’ve been running my own solo mining setup for a while now – including a full node, a couple of #bitaxe miners, and a dedicated solo mining pool.
Recently, I've automated miner monitoring and alerts with #openclaw. Running it on my Raspberry Pi and granting it access to Umbrel's OS, miner APIs, and hooking it up with Telegram turned out to be a super powerful combo.
My agent now continuously keeps an eye on:
🔸 Bitcoin node: health and uptime
🔸 AxeOS: miner status and performance
🔸 mempool.space: network difficulty and newly found blocks
Whenever a trigger event occurs, a Telegram bot sends an alert straight to my phone. For example:
◻️ ASIC temperature or error rates exceed defined thresholds
◻️ Hashrate drops below a certain level
◻️ New best shares (per miner and across the entire setup)
◻️ Miner or node goes offline or comes back online
◻️ Bitcoin network difficulty adjustment
◻️ A block is found by any solo miner globally
◻️ Or… by me (yeah, well)
On top of that, I’ve set it up to give me a clean weekly summary every Sunday evening, including uptime per device, average hashrate, and more.
All of this has been scripted and automated with OpenClaw and Claude Code, built in just a few hours, and on a $10 token budget.
Mind = blown 🤯

⚠️ I don't know know who needs to hear this, but Bitcoin mining is NOT a "race".
With Bitcoin recently crossing the "20M mined" milestone, I've seen a lot of posts across different platforms claiming that now the "race" for the remaining 1M BTC has started.
This completely misses how Bitcoin mining works and reveals a fundamental lack of understanding of Bitcoin's predetermined issuance model.
Referring to it as a race implies that participants in that race can accumulate more BTC in a shorter period of time by "running faster", i.e. that Bitcoin's issuance schedule can be sped up by putting in more effort. But that's just not how it works.
🟢 Yes, miners can spend more energy to increase their share in (and hence revenue from) all global mining efforts.
🔴 No, due to Bitcoin's difficulty adjustment mechanics the last BTC will still be mined around the year 2140, no matter how much energy is being spent along the way.
Bitcoin mining is not a race, it's a slow grind. That's why we call it proof of work.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk 🤓

I’m now running my own Bitcoin full node.
It’s a small but meaningful contribution to the network’s decentralization and resilience.
Next: setting up my own solo mining pool on top of it, and then we’ll see where this rabbit hole leads 🕳️

⚡ Solo Mining Update
I've been running two #Bitaxe Gamma home miners for a couple of months now.
Both have been upgraded with better coolers, heatsinks and fans to allow for moderate overclocking of the ASICs while keeping temperatures, power draw, and noise at a minimum.
Currently I'm doing pure solo lottery mining with one of them, while the other is hashing to a small "pleb mining" community pool – still solo mining, but with slightly better chances of finding a block and revenue share based on contributed hashrate in case that happens. #Plebs together strong 🧡
Next, I'm planning to set up my own full node to run my own solo mining pool – so stay tuned!
