sinceramente non sono riuscito ad andare oltre l'introduzione, sta roba è follia pura.

a posteriori (ma non solo) direi però che forse il problema è che su questo tipo di cose, dove l'europa avrebbe potuto "colpire" la Russia in modo anche abbastanza efficiente, magari rushando finalmente sulle rinnovabili, non è stato fatto abbastanza quando si poteva sperare di contare sull'appoggio degli usa.
Effettivamente difficile prenderci sul serio se parli di nemici e intanto li finanzi

come avevo scritto su un commento qua sopra un po' di tempo fa il fatto di riprendersi una autonomia difensiva europea non è un discorso necessariamente sbagliato davanti all'immagine che abbiamo davanti degli usa e della russia e potrebbe rafforzare l'europa.
Però come faceva notare il post sotto cui lo scrissi la solita austerity su cui potrebbero basare questi investimenti è il problema e sinceramente ci potrebbe affossare tutti

cpme articolo mi sembra lucido, e in realtà inquadra un po' la visione che mi sto facendo ultimamente delle cose.
Imo questo è un momento chiave per riappropriarsi di spazi politici poiché gli appigli esteri delle destre europee (russia prima e maga poi) sono abbastanza crollari di credibilità e favore in molti paesi.
Come dice l'articolo queste stesse destre (e i discorsi di Trump lo mostrano bene) mo si sciacquano la bocca di pacifismo (che è più un chiudere gli occhi di fronte al bulletto che picchia il tuo vicino di banco...), e allora sarebbe il caso di tirare fuori un po' di oggettività da parte della sinistra e fare blocco.
Io non penso sia impossibile: è vero che l'europa è un progetto economico neoliberale, è vero anche che l'immagine di un'europa come entità anche sociale esiste e può essere positiva.

I've been reading about the rise of italian fascism recently, and have noticed some parallels between that and what's happening in the USA rn.
But I'd say that a quite strong difference is in that once Mussolini got enough access to statal power he started to convert the extra-costitutional powers that had gotten him there into statal tools themselves, while binding the state to himself as much as possible.
Instead Trump and Musk atm seem to mostly bite off those statal structures, both for immediate gain or diminishment of statal control.
In that sense, while italian fascism managed in enlarging the state, in horrible and imperialist ways ofc, the USA seem to me to be going into dissolving.
Trump talks about the 51st state, I'd be surprised if he manages to keep the 50 he has together if he continues like that

Another big piece in this suggested new appearance is the genestealers cult.
It was always implied that the Imperium is such a militarized fascist dystopia that revolutions simply are impossible, when a revolt happened it ended in blood, quick and simple (not dislike the farmers revolts of the middle ages).
Now revolutions happen, but are a trick of an all-consuming alien threat.
Now, I get that from a certain pov it fits in a world where every side is wrong their own way (the T'au are the most militaristic side of communism, the orks are the most brutish side of tribalism, etc), also the revolutionary side is faulty and horrible.
But paired with the aforementioned it kind of feels slightly like giving a very solid foundation for the very reactionary vest of Imperium.

I talk as an enjoyer of much 40k media, mostly the tabletop games and videogames.
I think there is visibly an operation of rehabilitation of the Imperium as a concept and political/social reality.
Not really as an ideological operation but more like a marketing operation, still the effect is problematic imo.
In particular lore-wise the return of Guilliman, the new Indomitus campaign, the new primaris space marines, all sounds like a return to the pre-horus heresy grandeur that originally served as a mythical past (the roman times for the middle ages), but now returns as a material aspiration which gives
Some sort of solidity to what before appeared just as stupidly fanatic.

ho l'impressione che diventi sempre più difficile continuare ad avere un minimo di speranza e fiducia che il mondo possa essere altro che la gigantesca tomba a cielo aperto che vediamo, e trovare qualcosa oltre l'odore di morte e cadavere.
Sinceramente ho evitato foto e video, ma già solo leggere le notizie e, soprattutto, il report onu mi ha veramente colpito duro.
Già guardare le statistiche è agghiacciante, poi fermarsi a capire che ogni singolo individuo-numeretto di quelle statistiche rappresenta sofferenze sufficienti a schiacciare un uomo è semplicemente insopportabile.
Scusa la negatività, ma la positività oggi fatico a sentirla più del solito...
