Question 4: What will the future of the internet look like now that we have micro transactions where energy doesn’t leave the system?
This is something that has been very intriguing to me over the last couple months and I would like to know some of the best use cases you guys have thought of. What is going to change in light of this ability to send fractions of cents instantly.
The best analogy I have heard relating to this is one where someone hits a baseball but they have access to it dial to control the gravity acting on the ball. You can turn the gravity close to off but so long as a little energy leaks out of the system, the ball still has to come down. What we haven’t seen over the internet is an environment where the loss on energy is clicked to zero.
Which fields are going to be impacted the most when we turn the gravity to zero…

It’s interesting to think about how money touches all aspects of life and if we fix the money we can fix many of the major issues in today’s world. Just a few weeks ago i had almost no background on #Bitcoin or our current economic experience and I never would have known how far the depravity has spread from its host.
I’d like to talk a bit about central banking and some of the issues people, including myself, may be unaware that it causes.
What are some 2nd and 3rd order effects of having broken money? What is broken money and how does it reach all aspects of society?

Thank you! The possibility of a parallel AI economy running on bitcoin is actually something i have heard of before from @Peyton Allworth. The concept is definitely a challenge to wrap my head around.
What are the odds of something like that emerging and what do you think the timeline would be?
Also how would it come to fruition and what would the effects be for humans?

QUESTION #2: I was recently thinking about #AI and how quickly things are going to change, the internet is already rife with dissemination of misinformation and manipulation. This problem will only be compounded with the rise of AI. I have heard before that #bitcoin will play an important role but am curious as to how…
My thoughts were something along the lines of a decentralized identity management system, or bot protection of some kind, but can’t connect the dots to any other solutions just yet.
What will bitcoins role be as Ai starts to scale?
What are some of the possible repercussions of getting it wrong and how will we know what’s real and what’s not?

First question i have was posed to me by a friend of mine, they said;
How are you ok with using #bitcoin knowing its impact on the environment…
My response at the time was the same way that you were ok with the invention of the car and plane. it is a necessity to scale society beyond a certain point and will become more efficient over time.
What do you guys think about this? Why is energy consumption necessary for #POW and why to the benefits dwarf the costs?

Smart guy told me bitcoin goes through phase transitions like water does, you don’t get that in normal assets where as in bitcoin you can program a different stock to flow ratio over time. This graph is a wonderful thing to look at.

I would add that bitcoin is how we protect against the interest in inflating the existing stockpiles by a producer even when the incentives to do so increase.
It looks like it is the only technology we have that is capable of that.

I am relatively new to bitcoin and the inner workings of the economy and i’m currently reading the bitcoin standard.
One of the passages that clicked for me was where the book talked about how the hunt brothers lost over a billion dollars trying to drive the price of silver up, the inevitable cycle of when a consumption commodity is used as a store of value, the simplification i made was they bought up a large chunk of the existing silver supply, it drove the price up, in turn this creates more incentive for the producers of the commodity to produce more.
The production doubled and began to dwarf the existing stockpiles of silver, the price crashes due to an inflated supply and when the dust clears the ones closest to the production on the consumption commodity have siphoned the spending power from the misguided folk that couldn’t understand stock to flow and used it as a store of value.
