I would go as far as to say "take away skill from the skilled"
just look back honestly at the last six months... if you use AI intensively, obviously
try to remember some tasks you did, regularly and that you now delegate to AI
now the AI knows how to deal with it... you don't anymore
so first they slurped up all the knowledge of the Internet produced by man's skills... now they take away the skills themselves.
what's the next step ?
as things go, I doubt it will be universal income

2026... Definitely year of the #Linux Desktop...
And something tells me the new #Cosmic desktop environment that now comes with @nprofile…ud6j's latest #PopOS may be a game changer
Only had half an hour this weekend to give it a try via liveUSB... but it was smooth as hell, fast, good looking, efficient... Can't wait for the Xmas break to install it and dive in deeper
And #kudos to System76's devs... reimaging the Linux Desktop and implement it in #rustlang... #awesome!

or you can slow down the process with the `cpulimit` command
but AFAIK, this only works for ongoing processes as you need the PID...
so...
maybe put a breakpoint at the start of the process
use cpulimit to slow it down
and then unblock xdebug...
(I presume you are still using Linux... no clue if this would be possible on Winblows or Ma$)

Oof, Rab => //...

}

quite funny, but I'm under the impression, non of the DateTimeInface formats match the JSON one

could it be because DateTime did not implement microseconds before 7.1 ?

2024-12-09 14:02:15 GMT

I was today years old when I learned #PHP RFC3339_EXTENDED datetime format does NOT give a s*** about micro seconds
that's because it uses `Y-m-d\TH:i:s.vP` format... and not `Y-m-d\TH:i:s.uP`
don't know if this is a bug...
but it's annoying

hi @nprofile…240e
Would you accept a pull request that would make it possible to use wildcards when injecting a TypeMap in SerdeCommon ?
The idea is something like:
$serde = new SerdeCommon(
typemap: [
'*' => new GenericTypeMap()
]
);
That would allow, for instance, to specify a `ClassNameTypeMap` that would be used for all the classes

2024-12-03 12:50:16 GMT

- reply

@nprofile…240e
yes... everything is Interface typed
and TypeMaps seem to do the trick
but:
1. I have Serde attributes in my Domain objects
2. the output JSON contains non relevant information for the JSON usage
these really are non-issues...
yet, wondering, if there would be a way to specify a TypeMap when serializing and deserializing that would deal with the mapping leaving the domain objects and the outputted JSON clean
but overall, I love what you did here

2024-12-02 17:00:33 GMT

hey @nprofile…240e
I'm playing a little with serde...
love it
very basic use case is serializing and deserializing complex objects to JSON both for storage and sharing
One of the embedded objects implements and interface... and for some reason, when deserializing, serde tries to instantiate the interface instead of it implementation
wondering if you encountered something like this already ?
