This, and I'm thinking specifically about Trac. While I acknowledge the historical value of using Trac for Django, it may not be the most suitable option nowadays due to its steep learning curve for new contributors, not to mention the intricacies involved in requiring back and forth between GitHub and Trac when contributing code.
