I'm no product manager or anything but before I crammed more AI into a text editor I'd make it so that if the user held down an arrow key, the cursor could keep up.

I was wondering why #Swarm now always opens with a map - I know where I am, I’m about to check in!
Then I noticed the search and buttons (“Restaurants”, “Coffee”, etc) at the top and realised they’ve done as promised and folded the old #Foursquare guide stuff back into the app.

On the plus side, now the #Swarm icon is monochrome, I’ll no longer confuse it and the orange Strava app that it sits next to on my phone.

New #Swarm app design after all these years! I’m trying not to be too “ugh I hate the new design” without giving it a chance, but somehow there’s too much space, and the text is too small, and it looks really busy. An odd combination.

I’m thinking of trying Trello again for
personal use. Before I start, do any of you use something similar that, importantly, does not feel too “worky”? No whiff of enterprise.

Apple's Pages app has 11 templates for Letters, and all of them are weird. In what world does a "Traditional” or "Classic” or “Personal" letter have the sender’s name in big coloured text centred at the top?
Just a normal letter, in normal type, sender's address at top right please, you Californian chumps.

- Avoid reading anything that refers to blog posts as "blogs"
- Avoid watching "POV" TikToks in which the camera isn't showing the point-of-view described
- Avoid any videos that call themselves "podcasts"
I need more pedantic rules, so that eventually I can stop using Internet altogether.
