Great episode. I shall aim to always feel as young as Chris thinks I am. A quick note on the ethereum thing. I would be cautious buying into the tokenization narrative to any significant degree. There are a few tests running on ethereum and a lot of stablecoins use ethereum but most large entities building in the space are planning to use their own private rails.

49ers aren’t taking anything less than a top 50 pick for Mac Jones. They have him under contract on a cheap deal for next season and will get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick when he leaves as a FA. No point in trading him unless the offer is too good to refuse.

I hear you but that was 3 pitches in a row. I get the idea of too close to take but a couple of those were not that close. The Jays were going to have a hard time scoring with that lineup so it is disappointing when you give them freebies.
Anyways Lukes has been great for the Jays. I am not putting it all on him but with Springer, Bo, Kirk, Barger out of the lineup they really needed Lukes, Vladdy and Varsho to carry them.

The Blue Jays starting Yesavage in game 1 is an interesting choice. I don’t think Gausman threw enough Monday to keep him from starting but I think they like him on more rest and I am guessing with the Dodgers coming off a long rest they want to throw something at them they haven’t seen before.
I like the move but I don’t like that it sets up Yesavage for game 5 in LA which unless you are up 3-1 is a crucial game.

Dodgers biggest weakness is their bullpen. Blue Jays biggest strength is being a major pain to pitch against, driving up starters pitch counts and getting them out of the games early.
The series may very well come down to how many innings the Dodgers bullpen has to throw.

John Schneider has lost his mind. Little has been shaky all playoffs. They used Hoffman in that spot yesterday. You can’t be comfortable you can score in the 9th with bottom of order and no Springer when the lineup turns over. It is completely insane they tried to get through that inning with their 5th best reliever.

Kittle will be back this week. Also maybe Purdy and Pearsall. But I don’t think they can overcome injuries to two all pro players on the defensive side where they already had little depth and 8 new starters this year. They were playing well until Warner went down and then Baker completely diced them up. Now you don’t have to play a Baker level QB every week but they will have a hard time beating good offensive teams.

The Blue Jays sucked in game 1 and 2 but I am convinced AJ Hinch pulling Skubal cost the Tigers the ALDS and the Mariners winning that marathon game 5 gave them dragon energy. The Mariners are the kings of the streak. You don’t want to play them when they get hot and you would love to play them when they get cold.
