Last Notes npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 Had a wonderful two days at the Dutch Pen Show. I managed to not buy any pen! I did however buy quite a few inks and I did a paper workshop where I received a notebook with many different papers I got to try out. I also had two nib grinds. An oblique by CY from Kyuseido and Naginata by Thomas Ang. I didn't make any pictures. I had so much fun I completely forgot. 😅😂 #FountainPen npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 Happy International Tea Day! Somehow I always manage to kill thyme, so this is another try next to some well established Rosemary. No idea if that is helpful or not. And some Chinese Chives, because that's always yum. npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 #AutoALTReverse - Drawing a picture according to schnagi's AutoALT npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 First rhubarb this season. So rhubarb crumble it is. 😋 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I don't buy flowers anymore because too many pesticides are used especially on flowers, killing insects making it also difficult for birds to survive. So I just create flowers in my art to compensate and I don't even get the urge to buy flowers. Big difference from 11 years ago, which was the last time I came close to the Eiffel Tower, is that you're no longer allowed to walk directly underneath it, unless you buy an expensive ticket which also gives you the right to go upstairs. But if you do not want to climb it (and don't want to buy an expensive ticket), though luck. 😢 Day76/100 #The100DayProject #100DayProject #FountainPen #WaterColour #Sketchbook #Hobonichi #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 My comment was directed to JJ. My app automatically puts everybody else in there too. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to block those requests, genuine or not. But to call everybody asking for help terrible, really rubs me the wrong way. His comment was the first I saw. I was abhorred that so many other commenters had the same sentiment. npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 There are genuine people from Gaza trying to survive. Not everybody asking for help is terrible, some are put under terrible conditions making them beg. The PMs I've gotten from people asking for money are all from Gaza. There is a possibility some of them are fake, but the genuine ones are not terrible people. They often engage after a post of them is liked or boosted. They don't always catch the individual circumstances of somebody having an ill husband. npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I think I have a lot of these tractor stamps because the Korean newspaper distribution for Europe was sent from Germany. Although admittedly my taste in inks has changed somewhat over de last year npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 My first time #Hobonichi. I always love seeing what others do with their monthly spread, so I thought to share mine as well. I like the dated daily pages as well and I'm using weeks as overflow if I want to draw more, which is what I was missing coming from undated. Ghosting I don't mind and is to be expected from paper this thin, but unfortunately also some bleeding. But the crispness the papers take on when they are being used is a very satisfactory feeling/sound #FountainPen #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 As you can tell I thought her dress was humongous. I'm slowly getting back to a routine of doing A5 drawings again. My undated Midori did not have enough pages, because certain days I drew too much, the last 2 months were restricted to ½ pages, and I kept the drawings simple. I love that this year it's dated, but I'm not sure about the paper and watercolour combo. I don't mind crinkly, but working on it is challenging. But when Inksample.nl came with an advent calendar which would have a combination of samples and other things you might like as a #FountainPen lover, I decided to buy the box. Won't know till a few weeks at least whether it's any good 😅 wish me luck! #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 Always fun to meet up with my Mastodon friend IRL. As you can read, when we meet, we chat a lot 😅 #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I had the oddest conversation with a company doing reupholstery a while ago. This is just a fragment. Good thing though because now I decided to do a course and do it myself. It's so much fun taking the old fabric off 😅 #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I forgot to time yesterday, so starting with a guesstimate of 16:00:00 today 😅. Last day in Seoul. Sad but also looking forward to seeing my kids and dog again npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 We went to Kobe in the morning. Primary focus Kobe ink in Nagasawa 🫣 (inks are like purses for me, a person can never have too many 😅😂). Then we went back to Osaka to see the castle #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 It was still yesterday that I found some Stalogy planners for a friend. In the evening we went to Miyajima, so in the morning we woke up and had some coffee with the ⛩️torii, that stands in the water, in the background. And this afternoon we had a factory tour at Sailor the Mannenhitsu (10.000 year brush pen-> long lasting brush pen->fountain pen) company in Hiroshima Ken. It was really fun! npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 Goodmorning #tzag Going from Tokyo to Kyoto today. One one hand filling time by drawing on the Shinkansen is nice, on the other hand if my hand is even shakier than normal, that is the reason. For a train it's very smooth, but it's a train nonetheless 😅 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 In Dutch a comics is called a strip. Which covers mine much better as they aren't really any jokes in them. It's like a strip journal. So most of it is non fictional, especially during my trip. When I'm back home next week it might get more fictional 😅 #20hComicMonth #StopTheClock #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 A day at the Tokyo Pen show. I know you were asking for appropriate 3D designs. What are fidget pumpkins? npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I'll be time stamping my drawings. Of course it starts with 20hours. In the lower right corner, I'll put the remaining time. If I have much time left, I might colour them later. So today I'm off to Tokyo! #StopTheClock #20hComicMonth #artChallenge #comic #webcomic #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 Last day of October. This is my own yellow mix. I'm very pleased with it. It's not so yellow that it's not legible and not so dark, it would turn into orange, which imo many legible yellows do #31InksOfOctober #CandyCornYellowMixYourOwn #hässlichtober #uglytober #Froschhutzmittel #Inktober #lesson #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 We're getting into Halloween territory for sure 😅 #31InksOfOctober #ShadowsDeepBlackSmokeyGrey #hässlichtober #uglytober #Pfandtoffel #Inktober #Skeletal #FountainPen #Midori #undatedA5 #InkyParker51 npub1k4wrsdvzkchdd7yg707zlhfh5760sr66fqpla8shrfpyu6q9v7kqjp7w07 Parker51 I think this colour can pass for chestnut brown.
