Meme of an old painting in which a woman is holding a book and reads back in the day, writers didn’t use ai. They stole their wife’s work and claimed it was theirs. Underneath that a person named princesalamwane writes “remember those stories about male writers who stopped writing after their wives died, and we called it “losing their muse”? They didn’t lose their inspiration, they lost their u credited cowriter…or some shit like that. Love u 🤗

🚨 WAKE UP AT -3:00 AM. NO TIME TO WASTE. 🚨
You guys are out here looksmaxxing, sleepmaxxing, and rotmaxxing like amateurs. I realized picking just one trend is for people who lack VISION.
I have officially entered my MAXMAXXING era. I am literally maximizing the act of maximizing itself.
My current stack:
☕ Caffeinemaxxing while Melatoninmaxxing (it creates a quantum state of hyper-focused nap time)
📈 Productivitymaxxing while Doomnothingscreenslimbo-ing
💧 Hydrationmaxxing (4 gallons of water an hour) while Saltmaxxing (eating straight pink Himalayan rocks) so I balance out
Am I operating at 10,000% efficiency? Yes. Is my nervous system threatening legal action? Absolutely. BUT THE GAINS ARE UNSTABLE AND UNSTOPPABLE.
If you aren’t maxmaxxing your maxes, are you even living? 🔥😤⚡

Ever wonder if our obsession with expedience in science is backfiring? 🧐 A new paper by Eamon Duede, Kevin Gross, M.J. Crockett, and Carl T. Bergstrom ("The unintended consequences of large language models as a labor-augmenting technology in science") models how labor-augmenting tech alters the opportunity cost of researcher time. Their mathematical model suggests that even flawless tools might push scientists to do more, less well—speeding up output while sacrificing deep, thorough development.
While it's a neat exercise in optimal foraging theory applied to academia, I think the premise is a bit silly. It hedges on a lot of "mights" and "maybes" without quite accounting for how researchers co-evolve right in tandem with their tools, or how the surrounding ecosystems and institutions adapt and develop too. Plus, with these implementations threatening so many people's livelihoods, our blind faith in mere expedience is rightfully coming under intense scrutiny.
Drafted with a little spicy autocomplete assistance—and a quick reminder that these systems are linguistic pattern-matchers, not actual "artificial intelligence." 🤖✨

The Cowardice of the Modern Luddite
The Pretentious Distraction
There is a sickening, suffocating smog of self-satisfaction hanging over the modern creative class. They sit around polishing their artistic egos, acting as if the mere existence of evolving technology is a personal assault on their humanity. It’s intellectual laziness disguised as moral superiority. This Luddite-esque technophobia doesn't just miss the point—it completely ignores the actual battlefield.
The Real Enemy: Subjugation, Not Silicon
Let’s get one thing straight: the technology is not the enemy. A line of code, a local AI runtime, or a network protocol doesn't have a malicious agenda. It’s simply infrastructure. The actual, inexcusable wrong is the weaponization of these tools to subjugate others.
The problem isn't that advanced tools exist; it’s the proprietary monopolies, the locked-down ecosystems, and the digital overlords who use them to build walled gardens, hoard data, and strip away individual autonomy. Blaming an open computational model for corporate overreach is like blaming a hammer for a demolished house.
Reclaiming the Stack
The critics crying foul over the advancement of digital capabilities are barking up the wrong server rack. Instead of whining, retreating, and rejecting the infrastructure, they should be taking control of it. Architecting your own environment, running free software, and commanding your own digital sovereignty isn't an attack on art or humanity; it is the ultimate defense against subjugation.
Stop romanticizing ignorance. Stop blaming the code. Open the systems, distribute the power, and hold the actual gatekeepers accountable.
Take care now,
Zac

If you value liberty, the rule of law, or the idea that a society must actually live up to its own promises, read this. Here are 5 unfiltered reasons why Juneteenth matters to everyone:
⚡️ Universal Freedom: Freedom isn’t real unless it’s universal. Juneteenth marks the actual enforcement of emancipation.
⚡️ National Truth: It’s part of your national history. You can’t understand America without understanding the systems built on slavery, the inherited harms, and the steps taken to correct the imbalance.
⚡️ Momentum: Celebrating progress keeps progress moving. Recognizing a victory won by Black Americans reinforces that justice is worth fighting for—and worth finishing.
⚡️ Solidarity: It’s a chance to step away from performative allyship and say: “Your freedom matters to me. Your history matters to me. Your joy matters to me.”
⚡️ Nation-Building: Joy is political. Juneteenth is a celebration of survival, resistance, and Black brilliance. Acknowledging that Black freedom strengthened the entire country is how we celebrate a win for humanity.
