- Go to K-Fetisch (a lefty collective cafe)
- Go to Damascus Konditorei (syrian sweets, best in the city)

- For english speaking places that are anarchis-y, Offline.Place or Casino for Social Medicine.
- Museums that tend to have good exhibitions: Gropius Bau, C/O Berlin, Kindl, Hamburger Bahnhof. Not usually a fan of Hau. This capy is basic af and doesn't know small ones.

"Stonewall was a riot" doesn't really mean that Pride should be a planned riot instead of annex parade.
Consider that I means that Stonewall was a spontaneous act of community self defense and police opposition. One where people felt driven to act and to stand together.
You want pride to be a riot? Ask why when police attack people often just stand around and wait for the second round instead of banding together. Or why mobilizing spontaneously is so difficult.
Riots aren't simply willed into existence.
Oh, and awareness teams thst issue commands and dampen confrontation don't have a place at riots either.

Missed it by a few days (lol whoops). Thursday was the 4 year anniversary of our first zine. Help us celebrate by using your job's or school's printers to print a shit ton of zines and leave them in places where they'll be discovered by those with a longing for freedom in their hearts.

If the first two full pages of your zine are spent positioning yourself and explaining why your analysis isn't full and complete because of said positionalities, I will simply not read your zine at all. Just toss in some nuance as you go, good grief.

TL;DR. (Also might be blending in arguments from elsewhere). The book pushes unity when actually conflict and schism are fine and healthy. Sometimes the forced unity it advocates for are straight up abusive and violate basic anarchist principles like voluntary association. Schulman's IRL behavior has been described as abusive and stalkery, and the book could be called an abuser's manual.
"Conflict is not abuse" is a valid statement, but the book isn't about that, and it often says (kinda) "what you call abuse is actually just conflict."

Calls for Submissions for "Ⓐuslander:innen"
Tentatively titled "Ⓐuslander:innen" (German for "foreigners," literally "outlanders"), this next collection of texts will be a spiritual successor to our first zine "berlin, you've hurt me / another berlin is possible" and will continue to explore the themes of the (perceived-as) immigrant experiences anarchists in Berlin and the BRD.
While we have already addressed this topic, there is the feeling that since October 7th, there has been a shift within the Berlin radical scene where there is an increasingly perceptible rift between the white/German side and the "other" side: that of the immigrant, of the person-of-color, of the foreigner. Maybe it's the topic of Palestine/Israel that forces this split, or maybe it's something else like Ukraine/Russia/NATO, or even just something like how one should behave at a demo or conduct a meeting.
In many conversations over the past years, there have been many stories of feeling side-lined or othered, of having our knowledge and past experiences in our regions of origin treated as irrelevant and useless here in the BRD. Some people have felt themselves shift over time to be more "Germanized," but not integrated, rather molded to fit a German way of being, to fit the German disposition.

"All eyes on X" implies that attention alone brings change when the reality is that actions taken in concert with others is what reshapes the world.
If the Global Sumud Flotilla is captured (which seems likely) then what do we have as our next moves? Blockading Israeli embassies? Further BDS actions? Something else entirely?
Whatever change may come, it will not be because we looked at the little rectangles in the palms of our hands but because we acted.

are you now or have you ever been willing to take direct action to change your fate? If the climate is going to hell and fascism is coming (for you specifically as you made clear) will you do anything about it? Or will you just get mad someone didn't vote how you intended for them to?
