Setting up a new BenQ projector at work today, the provided "quick start guide" indicates scanning the qr code, connecting the projector to your google account etc..... there are no "skip this step" options offered....
We just want to plug in a laptop.
Took about 15 minutes before I discovered, if I just press input on the remote - the annoying startup self guided installation goes away & it'll show the HDMI connection #facepalm #enshittification

Also the staff who would be providing on the job training seem more often than not to be getting burnt out, overwhelmed and too busy to spend the time mentoring the new staff (who come out of uni thinking they know everything)
A mate of mine had a long hospital stay with Guillame Barre syndrome, it was a long road to being able to move his arms, yet food would be delivered as if he could feed himself....

I will have worked for the same employer full time for 19 years if I make it to July this year, I've been on 6 month contracts for a while now (once was a 5 year, then 12 mths, then 6 mths - I keep doing the work, they avoid pay increases)
Maybe I should be causing more controversy, and generally being more of a dickhead?
(Nah, that only works for radio "personalities" apparently)

my department has had 4 admin. officers in a row, who all had to modify their names to be more acceptable to the various staff who could not get their heads (or tongues) around some (not very tricky, but not anglo) names.....
and our cleaner is known to most people as 'Johnny', and was surprised that I could say "Ignacious" correctly on our first introduction - apparently most can't?
