It has come to light that Daniel Berntsson, one of the two co-owners of the Swedish-based VPN service @npub1xh7…v9hj, has donated huge sums of money (5mil SEK, roughly 500K USD or Euro) to Örebropartiet, a local Swedish party that can be described as "third positionist" with views on immigration even more extreme than those of the Sweden Democrats. We would suggest that everyone interested in secure IT communication, or who is currently a customer of MullvadVPN, follows this issue closely and reconsiders their use of this service.

Happy May Day to all friends, comrades and the global working class. We are forced to live under the yoke of the state and capitalism, and many of us face additional forms of oppression such as racism, patriarchy, trans-, queer-, and homophobia. But we are also the ones that get up every morning and recreate the world around us. Thus we are the ones who can fundamentally change it. We can build a better world together, and this is a day to remember that, to inspire each other, and to find that spark out in the streets that we can carry into organizing this other world for the rest of the year. Because that world is not some distant utopia, it is growing within us and among us in the here and now. 🏴 🖤

Solidarity with the brave folks of the Ulm Five, whose court hearings have started today. They took action against an Elbit Systems weapons factory, supplying Israel's genocidal wars. And they did so in the genocide central of Europe, sometimes also referred to as Germany, which explains the brutal treatment and repression that they are facing. May their voices be heard, may their actions spread like ripples on water, may they be set free, free as in free Palestine!

The ABC book on which we've been working for a few years is finally here! It's a swedish language introduction to all things anarchist, written in an easy to understand language aimed at younger folks or those anarcurious, and accompanied by beautiful illustrations made by artists and comrades from all around so called sweden. Info regarding how to get it will be out soon. 🏴 ❤️

Solidarity with the activists of Skogsupproret and local indigenous folks who are occupying a forest on the lands of the Sami village of Maskaure in the north of so called Sweden. The forest is under threat from Swedish wood cutting giant SCA. Despite an ongoing legal process, the company continues to destroy this biodiverse region against the will of the local indigenous population. From Sápmi to Palestine - decolonization everywhere! ✊🏾 🌲

Solidarity with all our friends and comrades in the US, and to everyone else who will feel the consequences of the US election. There were, as is usual, no good outcomes to be expected, but still, arguably, the worse option prevailed. The choice was between an enthusiastically genocidal and neoliberal status-quo cop, and a fascist-populist self-centered billionaire.
The latter winning will mean more strain on and repression against marginalized groups and communities, such as migrants, LGBTQIA+ folks, women, black folks and POC, refugees, as well as repression against those anti-fascists and working class people on the ground that already organize to actually change things in their communities or at work.
We all have to take care of each other going forward, and take comfort in the fact that elections were never going to emancipate us from this hellhole capitalist society anyway. It is up to us, and each and every one of us can contribute to that effort in some capacity. In doing so, in any way, we are already making a greater difference for ourselves and those around us than any vote ever could. And where there's enough of us, we can push the powers that be, and start forcing them into concessions.
To those out there, already fighting: We love you, keep creating that better world in the shell of the old. For those not currently organized: Don't let feelings of hopelessness overtake you, channel sadness, frustration and anger in organizing with people around you. There are countless ways to make a difference, from workplace and community organizing, to anti-fascism, international solidarity work, environmental activism, collective self-education, collective self-care and all the way to revolutionary working class organizations that theorize our present situation and develop ideas for how we can fight better.
There are many ways in which the future can unfold. There are countless battles yet to fight. There are no guarantees, and there's bound to be further setbacks. But there are always new potential beginnings, chances at a first step towards creating something else. Something that no parties or regimes, no states or capitalists can give us - because that thing is a world without them, a world for us. Let's take that step together. Here, now, everywhere, all the time.
