do you even think?
don’t you understand: I want to have built-in features - like overcast has built-in transcript generation for free, soon chapters
I can extract podcast MP3 file, then generate transcript with some free tool like https://converter.app/mp3-to-srt/ and then upload to LLM for chapters but it’s tim3 wasted on things that podcast app can do. Please think before asking questions

I agree with you but I reckon his reasoning is to release transcript feature as fast as possible and to add other stuff line search for support for existing transcripts later, however overcast is more more usable in area of transcripts than many podcasting 2.0 apps that serve me fat paragraphs in transcripts while overcast show just one current line , so usability of overcast already beats podcasting 2.0 apps and once automatic chapters added by Marco then really game over

once Marco Arment adds transcript search and automatic chapters on top of existing (excellent!) transcript feature
it’s game over for all podcast apps for iPhone and iPad including all Podcasting 2.0 apps. Sorry bros

exactly, Dave, I reckon @nprofile…7epg was using claude opus 4.6 via API in opencode - openclaw-style - that is why he suffered. Generally speaking: Claude Code is the best on the planet for coding, only Codex in $200/month plan of ChatGPT can match it.

1) sending me reminders via telegram when to pump iron
2) blog watcher - programmed by my Openclaw in python because the skill-one written in GoLang didn’t work, that observes some RSS feeds and sends me telegram massage once new item appears in RSS feeds
