We study ocean health on yachts. its a great way to get to places that big research ships can't get to. We often do university teaching trips but when they are not on we can't afford to use the boat (we don't own it). Grants only run so long. We were thinking of having people on board to help us do dive reef surveys, water quality, ocean and atmospheric microplastic. We are gauging interest. please boost for reach #science #ocean #climate npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…834x Mine was called Carley. I am not a programer but it seems like a security issue if functional codes can be injected without you knowing. What else has slipped through? npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 Bit of a heavy read but worth it. Key take away. Even small amounts of phthalates = bad npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…mrqh I think doctors should take their oath seriously. Patient first. npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…mrqh Haha. In many countries doctors are required to disclose such things to insurers. Ergo. Doctors work for insurers. Untill patient doctor privilege is ensured you will never get the truth. npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…7ppx I too have a certain set of skills that will come in handy in an apocalypse. Its not about the homeless. He just wants the national guard to protect him when s#@$t gets real. We know it has effects on the natural world which we need to survive but untill direct human effects are proven nobody will react. npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…gk57 plastics are in the fruit and veg. The plastic packaging will shed onto the surface and airborene plastic is everywhere which peeling might remove. Washing with tap water might not help as it also contains plastics. npub1kshcns84kfnp7rhhmazmx48x48x49v5rqeq3lvsz4rx9mxadcjhs7vzcxc Microplastics101 @nprofile…aq7u @nprofile…vut5 "If it's free, you are the product."
