So how hard would it be for BlackRock to “manufacture”20,000” new nodes in every global office they run? Deutche, Citadel, Schwabb, and Fidelity all help. They run up the price over the next 5- 10 years, all while slowly crafting a narrative about a “new, better bitcoin.” They then cash out and rug pull clueless retail with a hard fork…
Would this suffer the same fate as BCash? Probably. But if done at scale and sophistication, it could stall mainstream adoption rate for true BTC by a decade or more.

“We may one day become a great commercial and flourishing nation. But if in the pursuit of the means we should unfortunately stumble again on unfunded paper money or any similar species of fraud, we shall assuredly give a fatal stab to our national credit in its infancy.”

My wife’s employer kept their $$ in SVB. They asked her today if she had a BTC address they could use to pay her, “ just in case…”

So psyched to be here. I can see that the Nostr waters are deep, and I have much to learn!
I’m 2+ years into BTC. A little child still. I bought in at the last top but don’t care. I am holding tight.
I’m not a developer, coder, or hardcore techie. I’m a normal guy. Everyday I study and learn more. The more I learn, the more I believe.
Much of what I see here is still over my head, but I don’t care. I want in.
