I am a regular @nprofile…7yp0 user that is just now trying out USDT/USDC payments. How are people getting their stablecoins and are they self custodying it prior to paying with it on the exchange or just transferring straight from Coinbase/Kraken/Binance etc?

True or other forms of light leverage like buying calls or using margin. You can define your own leverage profile.

Not sure if this is exactly what you were referring to with your last point in optimum split, but I’m about as close to a full blown maxi nowadays but the only thing I get hung up on is “getting paid in bitcoin” then proceeding to sell some to cover monthly obligations. I realize I could sell same day or not transition some % of every paycheck into bitcoin, but services like Fold seem to get more valuable the more you convert to bitcoin every month. Easier to stomach during a bull run like right now but in the subsequent bear it’ll stink to see my stack shrink not only in fiat terms but also in terms of sats. Any tips for how to overcome this hurdle?

So I was playing around with Alby Hub on my own node the other day and when I went to create separate Alby Go users it seemed a little more complicated than say lnbits accounts. Seemed to want me to set them up with nostr keys and such as well. Was that all required or optional if I plan to have them only interface with lightning network to start anyways?

If anything won’t it become even more relevant as the fiat price of BTC goes up? Transactions will tend to require fewer and fewer sats

I would imagine it would only change in the event that they do a split or reverse split. Double your shares but halve the BTC per share.
Maybe this will come to be known as the suits version of halving events 😂

Do any P2P exchanges offer fiat for L-BTC trades yet? I was playing around with swapping from lightning to L-BTC over the weekend but I’m thinking I’d like to skip a step and on-ramp my fiat for L-BTC directly.
