That said, I noted that with lab scans before but I found the labs had trouble with reds more than I have at home.

I posted recently about Ilford PanF 50+ & how it must be processed as soon ASAP after exposure. This is the full roll. The earliest exposures are mostly faded, they were from the beginning of August. The next couple rows have strong highlights but the midrange and darks have faded, those range from late August through October. Halfway throught the four row starts with balanced negatives with decent density, these were taken in the last week of November and the film processed the week after.

I’m questioning whether the Linhof Technika III 6x9 fits in my rig. I’m exceedingly fond of it but using it with the ground glass takes as long as setting up an LF rig, at which point I may as well use 4x5.
So, I thought I’d try a roll using it as a rangefinder. The serial #’s don’t match but maybe it’s close enough.

, is Glass a platform for publishing photo series on the web? I am not familiar with it but, as I've recently been asked if I have online galleries for viewing, I am curious.

, I picked up this roll, in 220, from a dealer based in Detroit who regularly comes to camera shows in Toronto with a carload of old film. Expired in 2003, it cost me $10CDN and I shot it at EI160.
While I would prefer to just use new film, I'm still on a steep learning curve with photography and the cost savings is sometimes significant (I've also been given bags of expired film) and, I have to admit, I like the experimentation as well.

, I recently shot a roll of the BW400CN with an XA. It came out decently but not something I would seek out. The Portra400BW, on the other hand, I would look for again.

, thank you! Yes, Portra BW was designed to use C41. It's a shame they stopped producing it. I must keep an eye out for more.
This was also a test for the 220 back I recently cleaned up for the GX680.

, cool, I've not seen an Ikoflex in the flesh yet but I now have three Zeiss Ikon folders and am quite enamoured with them.
(Exciting side note, I may be able to add to my Fuji GX680 lens range at a camera show. It is, so far, probably my favourite camera but I have only the 100mm/f4.)

, it is another tool in the toolbox. Great for someone who learns to use it well and a terrible proliferation of terrible images from the ones who don't. There are a lot of bad photos, paintings, sculptures, music, and writing out there too.
The bigger quandaries with AI, at least for me, are the scraping of other artists' work without credit or compensation and the massive environmental hit from the energy consumed.
