Every human action intends to accomplish something, however trivial that thing might be in a given case.
To say that action intends to accomplish something means that it necessarily aims at some good, or at least what the agent takes to be good.
The “free will” at the bottom is nothing but a judgement concerning what is good.

One comment said “ study bitcoin”, which gets 14 likes
One responding comment “That might actually be the problem, because entrepreneurs are looking to Cryptocurrency instead of normal investments”. This got 67 likes.
Simple two takeaway:
- Bitcoiner still have incredible edge. We are so early.
- Crypto is parasitical to say the least and has only set back the adoption of Bitcoin.

#Bitocin is the perfection of money, precisely because it brings together the most perfect unity(21 million in the absolute sense), with the furthest extremes of individuality(completely independent node). #Bitcoin represents what Hegel would call the actualization of spirit, i.e. the realization of freedom. #note14hl…45tt

2024-06-01 18:13:11 GMT

#Bitcoin is ethical, and not simply the chaos of sheer particularity, because of the universality that lies implicit within the particularity of self-interest.

2024-06-01 16:22:10 GMT

If individuals have their being wholly in themselves and so relate to others qua individuals, then it is impossible for there to be an end to the relation other than mere accidental conglomeration of individual ends, which in fact means that conglomeration itself has no reality in itself but reduces to each individual in particular.

“If the state is confused with civil society and its determination is equated with the security and protection of property and personal freedom, the interest of individual as such becomes the ultimate end for which they are united. It also follows this that membership of the state is an optional matter. “
— Hegel

If a man can be substituted by a machine for production, it is only because he has already himself become more or less a machine. He has been institutionalized to production all along.

2024-05-27 13:54:35 GMT

The institutionalizing of #Bitcoin rule is not merely an extrinsic regulation of particular actors to the extent they are incentivized to coordinate, but is an exposition of the truth of the good each pursues beyond what each can see.

Political institutions, whether they to or not, form the souls of individuals, because they gather them together into a community, and such a gathering cannot spontaneously occur except through the prescription of a defining human good.

2024-05-22 01:47:43 GMT

Property is not so much a relation between a person and a thing as it is a relationship between the will of one person and the will of others.

2024-05-22 00:27:59 GMT

#Bitcoin is the social extension of a natural power.

2024-05-19 19:23:19 GMT

In ancient Greece, to be free meant first of all to be a citizen, that is, a participating member of the polis. This membership entailed certain powers, but freedom was not reducible to having these powers. Instead, they followed from freedom as its implication. In other words, freedom was an identity or a mode of being, an actuality, rather than a power or potency.
#note174v…3yms

2024-05-19 19:21:59 GMT

Freedom is not most fundamentally, a means by which one achieves an external goal. It is not first a power or choice.
Instead, it is itself an end. Freedom is ultimately what we are set free for.
In this understanding, the aspect of power or choice which has dominated the discussion of the nature of freedom is derivative.

This purely revolutionary character of Marxism proved to be paradoxical: its very form implied the overturning, eventually, of its own aims precisely to the extent that they became established.

2024-05-16 02:23:26 GMT

Very interesting point from Augustine Del Noce on Marxism:
Marxism represents the culmination of modernity, because it represents revolution in a pure form, and so the overturning of all inherited values, institutions and traditions.

“Augustine sees this liberation decisively in historical terms, as an event that unfolds in time … The history of the soul’s enslavement, which is at a profound level an enslavement to itself as much as to some foreign ruler, belongs to the story of its freedom. The self-enslavement is that from which the soul is liberated, and the deed of liberation occurs as a particular event. “

“Because man cannot NOT act as long as he is alive, and he must use scarce means to do so, he must also permanently choose between right and wrong conduct. The fundamental question of ethics — what am I here and now rightfully allowed to do and what no — is thus the most permanent, important, and pressing intellectual concern confronting man”
—— HH Hoppe

Money is the means to an end, goods with utility for instance.
There is potency to the means and there is actuality to the end.
When value is stored in the means, i.e. money, more potency is enabled, ends is thus more attainable. Conversely if value is stored in the utility goods, it makes the ends less affordable.
You want the means to be potent, not vice versa.
