(Hoping they don't regret it.)

In case anyone else on the slowly imploding zirk.us needs this: https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/

Planning to move over to https://thepit.social/ today before zirk.us completely implodes. If you never see me again, it's been swell.

If you're looking for a good cause, my friend Robin runs a reproductive health clinic in Alabama, and they're struggling to keep the doors open until grants kick in in 2025. If they close, their patients will have no options for extremely basic reproductive care. They need $100,000, and they're 20% of the way there: https://givebutter.com/wawc2024end #HealthCare #ReproRights

I guess I think of "working class" as being "blue-collar" jobs, but maybe I'm wrong.

Last night, one of the speakers referred to Kamala Harris as having come from the "working class." It's true her parents were divorced, and I'm sure money was tight, but they were both academics.
Am I wrong to think that's not "working class"? I might be! It just struck me as a really odd way to describe her.
