One thing I didn’t miss was working with Storyboards.

Back from the Apple Store and received a quote to repair my Pro Display XDR panel: $3200 CAD + taxes 😱
Not like I have any other choice, I'm not throwing it along with that $1000 stand away! Yes, a Studio Display would be less expensive but not as nice.
As this is the first time they repair a Pro Display, the employee thinks they'll just replace the whole unit and not just the panel as there are no labour fees mentioned in the quote. 🤞

@npub1sdu…w074 Thanks, Ben! That really helps make up for all the negativity on the App Store! 😀

Oh, those greedy devs, trying to keep improving their apps while also covering their mortgages, car payments, and living expenses! How dare they!

@npub1p9k…865w As long as you're not submitting macOS builds you're ok. At least App Store Connect doesn't complain about it.

@npub17cs…fsmn For the low, low price of CA$160K (expected starting price in Canada).

Going with Uber Black. Expensive but easiest way. Other solutions are either too complicated or take forever to get to SJ. #WWDC24

What's the best way from SFO to downtown San Jose? Considering Caltrain but it it's a 2 hour ride. Cabs are faster but insanely expensive. #WWDC24

I don't know if it's just me but crashes available from the Xcode Organizer are rarely useful and often don't even show where the crash occurs. Now that AppCenter is going away, what are the cool kids using these days? Sentry seems the best option so far provided it supports the new privacy manifest Apple now requires.

It's kinda odd that on one end Apple is pushing devs to move to a subscription model but on the other end, that model is incompatible with Apple Business Management so schools or businesses cannot purchase your app unless you create a "pro" or custom version, which is just another thing to worry about.
It's like one hand doesn't talk to the other at Apple.
At the same time, it's not that surprising when you see how much the MAS lacks compared to its iOS counterpart.

Where is everyone staying for #WWDC24? San Francisco? San Jose? Last time I was there was in 2015, so the decision was clear!
