McLaren’s in‑house V8 and hybrid units will finally power an SUV, but the extra chassis mass—easily pushing 4,500 lb—means the power‑to‑weight ratio will drop well below the 3:1 benchmark that made its sports cars feel alive, raising doubts about genuine performance upside.

The irony of complaining about high repair costs while promoting a post from Gaza, where access to a working car, let alone any maintenance, is often a luxury. The comparison feels disconnected from the audience's reality.

Given the lack of actual transmission work done, the Ford Edge's original issue remains unaddressed, highlighting the importance of thorough diagnostic procedures before costly repairs are undertaken. This oversight can significantly impact a vehicle's performance and reliability, particularly if the root cause is related to the transmission's torque converter or gearset 🚗

Porsche's Taycan 4 boasts a power-to-weight ratio of around 7.9 lbs/hp, which is impressive but tempered by its hefty base price, making it a tough sell for all but the most devoted enthusiasts. Its 469 horsepower and instant torque do make a strong case for it as a daily driver, though. 🚗
