Relays should have a financial incentive to operate, just like miners and lightning nodes, otherwise Nostr will never scale. Posters should also have a financial incentives, and zaps are not enough.

Banking fuctions under the bitcoin standard will be:
1. Custodian services for large amounts of wealth, institutions and anyone who just does not wsnt to hold their own keys. Fractional banking will be imposible due to the fact that the owner of the coins will be able to verify that their wealth is safely stored in their specific addresses at all times)
2. Investment services. Capital allocation is what got us to where we are in terms of civilizational advancement, so it will still play an important role in this new financial order. But now there won’t be government bonds or loans. Now, the only financial instrument that will survive are equities. Financial institutions will focus on matching companies that want to sell equities and individuals who want to acquire them.
