I am interested in that issue too.
I'm planing to get an IodeOS phone and i highly oppose the idea of "scan-on-device" / cliwnt scanning backdoors in Software.
Not only having a single App with such a backdoor in, but the base OS having one, is even worse...i didn't know this was law in france already.
Even if i am not in danger to be targeted in an legal investigation, does such a backdoor not pose a great risk to be hacked by criminals via that way too?

My daughter (13) wants to take notes on her tablet in school, but so far, every app i see is a data-security nightmare and needs constant internet connection.
They all seem to exclusively safe the files on the companies server accessed by the app. Some even use AI.
Not really what i want my child to use for stuff she writes in school, let alone a diary😨.
Isn't there any android compatible app (handwriting possible) that can safe the files on the device?

Could not decide what to do artwise today, but i need to keep my mind busy. So i searched for an #artober list i like and found one on Instagram done by laika_fox on (Insta @ ) .

Sometimes it makes me sad, that posts about times i cannot create because of depression gather more interest than posts that show my creations in times i can.
This tells either something about the low entertainment factor of my art, amd storytelling,
or the entertainment interests of society
and i am currently a bit torn which version i should find more devastating.

#Question for the artist and illustrator Bubble:
i want to switch to Linux because i want to stop using Microsoft and not update to W11.
I currently use CSP 1.11.6 but they do not have a native Version for Linux and making it work correctly there seems to be in the range from "pain in the ass" to "impossible".
What programs (not Adobe) would you recommend in combination with Linux?
