Yep. Kids also crave stories where things go horribly wrong, like Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Sometimes a good story about the mistake happening to somebody else is enough. I think this is how ancient people taught their kids not to wander into the woods etc.

A mix of PoW, bayesian spam score, and other metrics like looking at who follows the user and the distance of their followers from you (WOT-ish measure) will probably get us a long way. These are not new technologies. The bayesian spam checker running on my email server filters 99% of spam and it is a very old piece of software with a simple implementation:

BTW highly recommend plain old chamomile for sleep. Humans have used it a long time and it has quite strong anti-inflammatory properties (can send papers if interested).

tl;dr: for me it took a few weeks to see a drastic improvement to my sleep.
I quit in 2019 (by accident when I got sick and couldn't drink coffee). It takes a while because, as I understand it, your body creates more adenosine receptors when you are on caffeine and I guess it has to get rid of those before you start feeling normal. After a few weeks I began getting really amazing restful sleep and that basically improved everything, including my code!
