But if you find an account and follow it, you should see all their posts from the time following them. (I get, that posts are not backloaded into our instance, that would eat up a lot of server space).
Anyhow, I’m super happy @nprofile…vn2f implemented boosting on another account (long tab or right lick). The process of copy-pasting a post from one account to another was soooo tedious, I don’t miss it at all.

Friends upgraded and it completely overweighted their phones and decreased battery life.
Apple made several patches for iOS 18 that they don’t make accessible on purpose.

That lead me do read up about the fact, that #Apple is blocking iOS 18 upgrades for phones that are able to run 26.
So, they pooped their pants with 26 and want to force it on everyone? No thanks, instead I deleted Safari with its known vulnerabilities.

One can have extremely controlled interpolation by setting the sources with interpolation in mind.
Things can get pretty messy, if one does not understand linear interpolation.
But I know, you know that. 😉

CCC warned me when I chose the option for bootable clone.
I cloned it twice but the Mac would not start. So I clean installed it and migrated from the clone.
I mainly needed more disk space to run different versions of Windows. I had them on an external disk, but that was unworkable. (The main one fit on the internal disk, but not all of them, replacing them was a PIDA)

@nprofile…rnt9 I bought a bigger version of the same Intel MacMini second hand. It has less RAM. So I switched it.
Also learned the hard way, that CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) is no longer able to clone macs. Had to clean install and migrate.

But the tool-kit next to the left Mac is an actual iFixit set from my studio mate.
I need three different tops to get all down.

After attending #PubConf2025 yesterday, I chatted with a friend that expressed wanting to get of Instagram.
They have been intrigued by me saying, that #Mastodon always has been a pretty #queer space.
Now I’m looking for the right #instance to recommend. But the choices are overwhelming.
Where would a queer, #feminist, intellectual, English language #writer, #educator in arts, secular Jewish, pro Palestinian, gen-X person feel at home?

@nprofile…0ffe @nprofile…tnt4 It looks like it was printed on a HP Indigo post firmware upgrade.
Since then, Indigos can not handle PostScript curves any longer.
I went down a rabbit hole back in 2018, even talked to a former HP employer that confirmed my suspicions.
