Yes, axiomatically bitcoin scarcity is increasing with every bitcoin halving.
Bitcoin is designed to have a limited supply, with a maximum of 21 million bitcoins that can ever exist. This scarcity is one of the key features that makes bitcoin valuable.
Bitcoin halving is a programmed event that occurs approximately every four years, where the number of bitcoins that miners receive for adding a new block to the blockchain is cut in half. This reduces the rate at which new bitcoins are created, which in turn slows down the rate at which the total supply of bitcoins increases.
This reduction in the rate of new bitcoins being created means that the remaining bitcoins become more scarce over time. As a result, the increasing scarcity of bitcoin is one of the reasons why some people believe that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase in the long term.
However why is the upcoming halving the one that will make #bitcoin most scarcest asset in the world and not the halvings in 2012, 2016, 2020, 2028, 2032, … 2140?
