UI prototyping in progress on game2 ... I find this pretty tedious but it needs to be done. Just getting everything aligned so that it is workable (and testable) initially takes me ages!

Cleaned up the spaghetti code mess I made and separated responsibilities between Stats/Saves and Game Managers. This will help me to improve the skill tree and upgrades system on Game 2! (I hope)

Completed a bunch of health/damage related tasks for game number 2 today (it actually took a while as it's all new to me):
- Player and Enemy health/damage system
- Hit knock-back effects and shader effects
- Health pickups graphics, animations and logic
Next up:
- Upgrades for increasing weapon damage and max health
- Adding the above to player save data

Back from a couple of weeks in Wales (which was gloriously sunny for the time of year). Worked on health collectables for my next game and now onto hit knockbacks and animations.
My first game was all in the console window like an old mainframe app. This one is being built in unity as a 2d survivors/brotato style (ISH) game .... But with a linear story and progression ... And it is very silly.

And that's a wrap on Compu-Tron x3000! After 3 months on Itch.io and 2 months live on Steam there have been no bug reports from players (woohoo!).
Time to close down the kanban board and set up a new one for the next project.
