It took me a while to make mine reachable from bitnodes, and I'm a technical guy. Then I installed a vpn and now my node is again unreachable 😆
I believe only a minority of running nodes are actually reachable.

1- Read about it around 2010.
2- Ignored it for 11 years (plus short shitcoining period around 2015).
3- Went down rabbit hole in 2021, figured out I was a bitcoiner all this time, sold everything (literally) and went 100% in.

I was not sure I wanted to see this, but in the end I decided to give it a go. I had my fair share of conspiracy theories in my teens, which, on one side got me fucking depressed, but on the other side probably saved my life.
At a certain point I got sick of it and decided to keep away from it and focus on improving my life. Obviously most of the information is still with me, so the history of the pharma industry and most of the things in this video were not too surprising.
But as a cancer survivor (hopefully that won't change too soon) this took me through a whole array of emotions and so I taught maybe this is worth sharing.
One of the main reasons I am still alive and well today is probably the fact that I refused my oncologist's treatment (chemotherapy). I was also fortunate enough to catch the tumor early on in it's stages and lucky enough to find a great surgeon to take it out in time. That was crucial I believe.
I was also fortunate enough to be able to upgrade/fix my lifestyle in terms of sleep quality, nutrition quality, stress management, etc, as much as my fiat salary allows me to.
It's still early to speak, maybe, but one year after surgery I was still clean. We'll see what the next monitoring session (long due) will bring.
But in the meantime I am looking forward to episode 2 of this series to go on stream. I think these guys did a great job. You can still probably watch episode 1, streaming for free, before they switch to the second one. I wonder now maybe I could have even avoided surgery, if I knew about and if I could afford visiting these clinics mentioned in the video.
Over here, on the other side of the world, in eastern europe, the situation is not better. The pharma industry's tentacles reach far. The spectacle I witnessed in the hospitals were something else, I wouldn't even know where to begin describing it. Hopefully #bitcoin will help fix this shit. And hopefully I will be able to contribute more soon.
Anyway, I don't know why I am writing all this. The only person in my life who knows about my experience and whom I was able to speak to and who was with me all this time is my girlfriend.
I am curios if other people out here had any experience with cancer. I hope you have someone who loves and supports you and who you can speak to. That's the most important thing in life, by far. And if you feel like sharing something by commenting on this note, please do. ♥️

Security is probably a bigger concern. Sometimes you want to make sure a value does not change after assignment. Like when you have a process dealing with personal / sensitive data, account numbers, #sats, etc.. :)
