it's also likely that such an error is the normal operation of social.sdf.org, but then I'd expect it to be random, unless something is being cached.
(This instance has randomly given me 404 and 5xx for existing content several times in the past.)

Is it fully upgraded now or should I defer testing until later? Currently doesn't load here, and, from the JS output, I'm guessing it started requiring dynamic imports?

The privacy policy mentions information being public or crawled (e.g. follow lists), does this mean these can't be set to hidden/non-indexable in the account settings, or is that text just to cover the default settings?
(As a side note, this URL, linked in the sign up form, is giving me 404: https://mementomori.social/terms-of-service (or, more precisely, the page gives 200, and shows an error because the following returns 404: https://mementomori.social/api/v1/instance/terms_of_service))

I'm probably going to have to migrate to another instance as I'm getting tired of splitting posts; looking at the listed rules and policies, two questions:
What does rule 11 (Bird UI) entail? Is that just a statement of a change made to the web UI, or one has to use the web UI in order to use mementomori? (I'm currently using Brutaldon; any usage of the web UI would probably go in hand with local CSS hacks I already use for this instance (for colors and fonts).)

Why not black then? Gray on gray is probably one of the worst usability nightmares, re: lack of contrast. At least #000000 on top of that light gray will be much more readable/visible.

checking DNS records and seeing that the destination domain routes e-mail via Microsoft is always heartwarming...
I mean, they're likely not the only offender, but it's amazing they made this a thing, where their SmartScreen may choose to silently drop after accepting, and, if not dropped, it might still go to Quarantine, which I suppose not many users know about...

#NetBSD OTOH reportedly added some support that is not available in XOrg but was present in XFree86? (I think I may actually have one video card in that situation, although I didn't check...)
