indie web people, video essayists who either don't make money OR make it mostly not on YouTube, other interested parties:
do you post your videos somewhere that isn't YouTube or tiktok or Instagram? do you feel like you get the reach you want doing it or you've just taken the L there?
Thanks in advance

usually I'm trying to debug something that's part of a design system/partially built. what I usually do is try the obvious things to me, try tweaking the existing parameters. then if I need to rewrite I consult every layout or the wider internet, first seeing if anyone has my exact issue, and if not looking for a similar component?

I'm also slowly working through Picalli's Complete CSS, but that's more end-to-end so far.

of all the coding I do, I never want to [redacted self violence] more than when I'm doing CSS.
does anyone know of any good guides/courses for debugging it/having better mental models for working with it?
I need to read every layout all the way through, and I have wizard zines pocket guide.

who else is writing about/coding stuff in the vein of "this is how we make social media better"?
also accepting studies and books if they are compelling/solution-focused!
- @npub1fd2…f2f9
- @npub1sac…kcpe
- mastodon team in general/activity pub stuff
- @npub1ujx…zrg9
- bluesky
- secure scuttlebutt
(i have a slightly different list on bluesky, well done eagle eyes, Iijust can't be bothered searching for everyone's existence on every platform!)
*any "obvious" omissions were not on purpose, actually!

trying out @openvibe.bsky.social, such a seamless experience so far (though I'm wondering how that bluesky handle will be rendered on not bluesky)
