@nprofile…n5z9 @nprofile…29ac saw phil and friends twice, both earlier in 99. Mountain Aire 5/29 and Warfield 7/3. Warfield had Billy K on drums, which was pretty thrilling. Recall both shows being excellent.

@nprofile…p8cy I don't understand why small venues use Dice and not withfriends, eventbrite, ovationtix that just email a pdf. Might be because Dice does dynamic pricing and there's that incentive.

Saw the 90s Japanese movie Shall We Dance. A movie about a stiff, middle aged Japanese businessman who takes ballroom dance classes. It's a comedy and a lot of the jokes are stiff businessmen dancing. But the main character is dancing itself-how it represents pure human expression, rescuing people from life's modern doldrums.
