@nprofile…a8nr Potrebbe scrivere libri di storia, per esempio. Il fatto è che se mette degli ads sul suo sito non si tratta di ads che riguardano i propri prodotti, ma prodotti altrui. Che faranno guadagnare al pubblicizzato e a chi offre gli ads più di quanto ne ricava lui.
Comunque il ricavo è solo un aspetto, ci sono anche gli altri: l’obbligo di salvare un cookie per dire al sito tracciatore che non si vogliono cookie, il fatto che questi avvisi di privacy policy e ->

Beh, i casi mi paiono essenzialmente due: o con ads pubblicitari o semplicemente vendendo il suo lavoro. Se la cucina è un hobby, gli ads sarebbero plausibili perché le sue entrate maggiori dipendono da altro, quindi il blog diventa un modo per arrotondare. Ma tu hai detto che lo usa per lavoro, quindi il caso è il secondo: vende il proprio servizio di cucina. Magari a domicilio, chissà.
Forse quindi non c’è un reale bisogno di tracciamento degli ->

E infatti ho subito specificato che un’azienda sarebbe praticamente costretta a fare scambio banner coi propri concorrenti, ovviamente cosa non corretta. Il caso di chi ha un blog è diverso, anche solo per il semplice fatto che un’azienda guadagna vendendo il proprio prodotto (auto, per dirne una), e in più guadagna anche con gli ads traccianti, mentre chi ha un blog e “vende” la sua ->

@nprofile…a8nr ricordo che diversi anni fa esistevano i circuiti di banner, per farsi pubblicità. Era sufficiente accordarsi con un altro sito simile al proprio per uno scambio banner e si era a posto. Certo, le cose sono cambiate, ma lo trovavo un approccio molto più “sano”.
In effetti ora un’azienda dovrebbe affiliarsi ai propri concorrenti, cosa ovviamente non voluta.😅 Ma basterebbe affiliarsi ai siti delle riviste del proprio settore, per esempio. Pubblicità gratis per tutti.

That’s too easy to give AI a bunch of information found somewhere and order it to create a report, but if the data are false, biased, incorrect, well, you may be doomed.
Another movie is almost on screens now, about a man imprisoned and accused of his wife’s murder because of an AI law system. And he has to prove he’s innocent, before a certain time, or he will be executed.
Do you really want a future like this?

AI is defined a “intelligence”, i.e. the ability to comprehend reality, make assumptions based on observation, and learn from mistakes.
In this sense, the early-80s movie “Wargames” present a great example of AI: WOPR is a computer designed to learn from the mistakes. And the games it learns from are games involving simple “here I can’t go, let’s try a different direction” such as mazes, but also planning and strategic games like tic-tac-toe and even chess.

That’s the point.
It’s a game, no more than what looking for drugs into a passenger’s bag in an airport may be for a dog.
But with millions of lives in danger.
As the general in that movie, I would not trust a computer for such decisions. AI just gathers data and combines them, but the most important steps are “where do you scrap them from?” and “how good are this data?”

@nprofile…jqam Tried Haiku, a few months ago. It doesn’t correctly install onto my laptop, so I gave up. But it’s quite nice.
Simply, 9front is lighter, faster, works like a charm (except wifi, not with this laptop, and printing, but this is a printer problem I never solved with OpenBSD either). And I like its minimalism and efficiency. Pity for the multilingual input, as iBus/anthy is more complete.

Poi, a mano a mano che imparo qualcosa di utile per me, lo aggiungo. Così, in caso di problemi, ho modo di ripristinare le varie impostazioni senza andarle a cercare ancora.
