I also tried omarchy. For me it wasnt working, a lot of bugs. But IMO it looks great. So I installed opensuse tumbleweed with hyprland. And this is amazing.

Okay, danke. Navidrome hab ich auch schon am Laufen. Ich hab schon angefangen weitere Bausteine zu recherchieren, aber dann musste das Projekt erst mal wieder warten.

After about 5 years without a tiling window manager, I'm back. No more i3wm. I've spent the last few days configuring #hyprland. I've learned a lot. But it was fun. Slowly but surely, I'm getting to the point where I could use it every day. Even though I'm still far from knowing all the key bindings, I already feel like I'm faster than with a non-tiling WM.

I decided to give #Omarchy a try today. I appreciate tiling window managers and found it visually appealing, so I installed it right away.
The installation was really straightforward. However, I then encountered several bugs (which turned out to be known issues). Unfortunately, I am unable to use it at this time. I will give #hyprland another chance, but on a different distribution.

I understand. The only thing I'm missing right now is the ability to log in with Amber so I can use Boris on my mobile device. I don't have a Bunker address or an extension in my mobile browser.
But maybe there's a workaround that I just don't know about yet.

Looks nice and clean! I'd like to try it out sometime. Five to ten years ago, I used Arch with i3wm. It took forever to install and configure everything so that I could use it for my daily work.
Did you spend a lot of time on customizations?

Yes, I wouldn't see it as a 100% replacement either. But for certain tasks it is conceivable and more practical for me. I can also access a fully-fledged Linux OS from my smartphone via VPN and ssh.

A very good idea.
In principle, you need an app that can process links with a timestamp. Then it would be easy to use this link in Obsidian (or in my case in logseq).

Finally, I've managed to sync my #Loqseq graph on my Linux notebook into a git repo. That was not so difficult. But setting up loqseq with git in termux was a challenge for me. But good! Learned something again and finally able to use loqseq on the go.
